Our family has been part of the Davis family for YEARS. Now that it’s Capital, nothing is personal. It’s very sad. Wish I could do business elsewhere if not for the close proximity to my home. The corporate atmosphere is NOT appealing. We’re not Raleigh where it doesn’t matter if no one knows you (i.e.too big a city to even try). This is Lexington. Get to know your customers. And accommodate them appropriately. It’s not impossible. I don’t carry the persona of an entitled person. But basic hometown feel has gone out the window here. The only strangers are the new folks who have come in to take over. Not the customers who have walked through those doors for years. Do better. And realize you’re in our ‘house’, not your forced corporate world. More
