I had contacted him before by phone and had told him that I was interested to possibly lease a white e-golf instead of buying one. Richard was well prepared and showed us the way to look at a brand new 2019 e-golf in white. It was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Then we went for a short ride with it. I was impressed how quite the car was and how easy it felt to drive it. After our ride Richard answered patiently all of my questions about charging, where to turn on the wisher and program the radio etc. After that we followed him to his office to get the paperwork done. Richard was very helpful in explaining all papers that needed to be signed and answered all my questions about the lease. He informed me about the CA Rebate Program for electric cars and was very helpful in getting this process started. We now decided to buy out the leased vehicle because we really like it. Chuck was our salesman and he was great - friendly and helpful. The two men in finance were also friendly and easy to work with. Our only minor issues were that it was their first day using a new digital signing system so we were there for over 4 hours instead of the “couple” we were originally told, and after the service department did a 100-point check and out the car on the charger, we got it back with an error message that said “needs service” (they quickly and happily remedied that though). Oh, and I think their receptionist was not happy to be there on a Saturday, she was sullen and just short of rude. Overall, this is one of the best auto dealerships I have ever dealt with, so thank you, Capistrano VW! More

30K checkup went very well! I came to get my 30,000 mile checkup and specifically wanted to deal with Brad in service, not that the others are bad , I just always deal with Brad. It went very quick: he explained what they would do to my beloved Beetle and I signed/initialed a few papers. Then he took me over to rent a car for the day. Again I had my paperwork and cards ready and he’s obviously done this before so it went very quickly. Then he promised to update me on my car and got me settled into a bright orange Tiguan. Done. Oops, somewhere in there I bought a new blue BW t-shirt. More
