As someone who has been in the industry for 10 years I am usually called to help negotiate the deal and make sure there is no "issues". I got 3 VW-s from another dealer in the area in the past 16 months for my wife, my nephew and a friend. Now it was time to get another one for my other nephew and I tried to get it at the same dealer like before. For whatever reason, the communication was to slow so I decided to go somewhere else. I contacted Capistrano VW because of a near new VW Beetle and Steve jumped on it right a way. ALL my questions got answered, ALL! I am a little demanding as a customer and "hard to get" but the experience was SUPERB !!! Everyone at the dealership was professional, friendly, and there was no pressure throughout the entire time. I live in San Pedro and WILL NOT mind driving for 1.5 hours and again the same back once I decide to get another VW. I would like to HIGHLY recomand Steve. You won't regret buying here! More

He was not high pressure, didn't scare me with "no negotiation talks", just showed me the cars that I was interested in, didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time and he got the sale. I would highly recommend him if you go in there... He is flexible with time and at the end - he took over 1/2 hour to explain all the features inside the car. The moment I received a follow up email from Connie containing a link to a personalized video tour of my vehicle of interest, that I wanted to do business with Connie. I chose a dealership 60 miles away from me for excellent service, and that is exactly what I got. From the GM personally walking me to Connie, from Connie walking me to Finance, to Finance explaining everything. I drive a VW because of the quality of car. Although we had a short list of cars we were interested in, we expected it to take weeks, if not months, to find a gently used car we all agreed on. We spent quite a bit of time researching used cars online, so we had a good understanding of average miles, years, and prices of cars within our budget. We decided to begin our search at Capistrano Volkswagon, with the intent of visiting several dealers throughout the weekend. We were warmly greeted by Curtis Kelley, who showed us several cars on our list. My husband and I were stunned and amazed to find that Capistrano Volkswagon's prices were significantly lower than what we had found through our online searches at CarMax, CarGurus, etc.! And, in addition to lower pricing, the cars we found were newer and had fewer miles! After considering a few cars, we purchased a 2012 Jetta S that had recently come off of a corporate lease with only 17,000 miles. The car exceeded our expectations with regard to price, miles, year, and condition, and we couldn't be happier. Curtis was wonderful to work with and made the whole process seamless and memorable. I contacted Connie and she got back to me within an hour. She sent a quick video showing the car and the features which really helped. I showed that to my parents and we decided it would be worth it to check out the car. We made an appointment and drove up. Great service, Connie was awesome, and so was Nick. We were in and out in under 2 hours which was awesome! Everyone was so friendly and Connie really knew what she was talking about. I am so happy with the car and definitely recommend the dealership to anyone!!! More

This car is hard to find, it was 10 years ago and is now as well. Curtis made it happen for me! I made a deposit and two days later the car was delivered at his dealer ship. As I picked it up he took the time to show me everything in the car, and he programed all my favorite radio stations. At no point did I ever feel rushed by him. And I spent quite some time there! We calculated gas efficiency, what the difference would be in comparison to a diesel engine etc. He is not like the "usual" car sales person (I am confident you know what I mean), he is personable, patient, explains everything really detailed, has a nice demeanor about himself. He was very responsive in regards to all my emails and text messages. I am originally from San Diego and would drive to San Juan Capistrano anytime to deal with Curtis.
