If you’re in the market for a vehicle, I would recommend you go anywhere BUT Canton Ford. I live in a neighboring state and found the vehicle I wanted at this dealership, so we completed the deal online you go anywhere BUT Canton Ford. I live in a neighboring state and found the vehicle I wanted at this dealership, so we completed the deal online on a Friday. They arranged delivery for a Sunday. Vehicle arrives at the wrong address and driven by someone who brought along their small children (who he said were hungry and needing to get back home ASAP). After insisting on 30 min for a test drive and inspection before the driver and his family departed, I discovered that the AC wasn’t working. He concurs. We both try to reach dealership. No one would reply to my messages or to the driver, so I took delivery contingent upon diagnosis and the needed repairs being made and sent a signed document to that effect back with my cashier’s check and paperwork. For the last seven days, I’ve been alternately ignored, gaslighted, disrespected, lied to and patronized by sales staff and management alike. Today, they apparently decided they’re not going to make any profit based on their expectation of the repair cost here, so they threw any pretense at customer service out the window and are sending a second driver to return my money and pick up their vehicle. Bottom line: You cannot trust them to honor their word or written agreements. I don’t know if my experience is based on the fact I’m a woman who knows enough to research purchases like this and enlist experts when necessary, or if this is endemic of their business model. Regardless, I would suggest you save yourself a lot of time and headache and just keep scrolling or driving past Canton Ford. More
