Shane Hickman was nice friendly very polite but there were some key things that were skipped over very quickly in the Carfax report on the truck that I purchased in the end. Alex Armenta made things rig were some key things that were skipped over very quickly in the Carfax report on the truck that I purchased in the end. Alex Armenta made things right by getting me into another truck that I could use for work since I had bought a work truck. The service manager Daniel gave me a truck to use while things were getting sorted out on my other truck. They knew I needed a truck to work out of because I was upfront about that when I returned the pick up to them the bad and tailgate had some scratches in it which when I got the truck from them, the bed already had scratches in it, but since I was using the truck for work and they knew that, Daniel found any little thing on it. He could to charge me with the only thing he could find were some scuffs on the edge of the plastic top cap on the tailgate, which could have been fixed with a piece of sandpaper in about five minutes, but instead they want to charge me for a Brand new top cap for the tailgate. The scuffs on the tailgate could have already been there when I got the truck because like I said, the bed and tailgate already had scratches on them when I pick the truck up from them but once again, like I said, he knew I was using it for a work truck , Alex had already told him they weren’t going to charge me for mileage on the truck and so I guess he used it as an excuse to find any damage to charge me for since I was using it as a truck to work out of Daniel the service manager was supposed to send me a quote on the damages of the truck. instead of him sending me a quote he elected to send a claim straight to my insurance company for the damages so I get a call from my insurance company telling me about this claim they were paying for damages on this truck so in the end he stuck me for $1390 in damages on the truck, one was a crack in the windshield. He gave me an insurance policy on the truck and said this will cover things that are out of your control, so I’m guessing he thinks I jumped out of the truck running down the interstate, threw a rock at the windshield and jump back in as the truck was passing me by , that would be in my control but if I’m driving down the road and a rock hits the windshield and chips it I think that is out of my control but like I said, I think he was just looking at a way to make some money off the truck since they knew and were told that I would be using it for a work truck because that is what I had bought so I will never go back to Canton Ford all of my work to my truck and any future purchases will be made at Wills Point Ford but if you do decide to go to Canton Ford then ask for Alex Armenta he is the only person up there who will do you right . I came in for a simple quote on why my car was shaking and engine light. I was told right before I was about sit down to quickly sign my name to a paper, without reading it. When I came and picked up my car, they said they could not get the parts for it, suggested another shop to do it, on top of a $ 149.00 fee that I knew nothing about, the guy that had me sign the paper pointed to the bottom of the paper. I will not be coming back here. More
