Rockingham Toyota was competitive on price, which got me in the door. They were courteous and our sales person was knowledgeable. I was referred to Jennifer and Mark through a mutual friend on the possible purchase of a 2013 Toyota Tacoma. I’m used to some dealerships that are pushy and simply not personal. My first experience of walking into the dealership was being greeted by a big old golden retriever that was hanging out on the show room floor as if we were old long time buddies. I then met Jennifer who was extremely friendly, energetic, and willing to help me on my decision. We test drove and discussed options openly and found her to be very personable and approachable on all subjects including price. I decided on a very rare 2013 Tacoma (Double Cab, Long Bed, and Magnetic Gray) a truck that would be very difficult to find. I then met Mark who took the time to talk family, activities, hobbies, and not just business. I appreciated that as it made the conversation much more natural and enjoyable and made me want to do business with the dealership. Mark and Jennifer expressed that it would be difficult to find, but that they wanted to keep my dream alive of getting exactly what I wanted and they would order directly from the manufacturer if needed. Well the truck arrived three days later and I couldn’t be happier driving in my new Tacoma. I truly believe that both Jennifer and Mark have earned the title “Dream Makers”! I wanted a specific color for my car and it had to be ordered from the factory in Japan. My sales guy, Bob Copley, did a great job of letting me know where we were in the process and when I could get the car. To be honest I don't like buying a car. I don't like dealing with the hassle and bartering. When I went to Toyota I was not looking to purchase that day, just wanted to test drive and get info about o dealing with the hassle and bartering. When Jen approached my husband and I she was very friendly and asked imperative questions (what model/color etc )to make sure what I was about to get into fit my desires. She was very knowledgeable about what the Highlander had to offer. When it came to purchasing the vehicle Jen was again very easy to communicate with and work with. At quite a few turns I was ready to get up and leave, but Jen kept working with me to ensure I was happy with the final price. The day we went to pick up the car was a scheduled day off for Jen, but there she was. She spent about another half hour with us, going over the features, setting up my blue tooth and making sure I was comfortable. She certainly went beyond her call of customer service. I love Toyota, and now can add Rockingham Toyota to the top of the list of dealerships I would use and recommend. More
