I had the pleasure of working with Nelson Pena. From the time we entered the dealership to the time I left with my new Yaris, Nelson was very attentive and professional. He is very knowledgeable about the product he sells, but does not come across as pushy or patronizing. He answered all our questions and very effectively sold the vehicle. I would not hesitate to recommend Nelson Pena and the rest of the Rockingham family to anyone who was looking for a good quality vehicle at the right price. I walked around the lot and showroom 20 minutes before I went to find a salesperson, IMHO a good dealership has a "greeter" or the sales people are hungry enough to make contact. Got a sales guy, yes we can get you the car, trade..yes... ok let me drive it.... 10 mins later returns with the you are the second owner, it has been in an accident carfax the trade is not worth a lot speech. Word to the wise Carfax is not your friend, there are lots of cars that have been in accidents with no paper trail for Carfax to find, and most cars will have had an accident at some point, it is the quality of repairs that make a difference in value, but I digress, Was the price on the new car good? a C note over invoice plus "doc fee", plus they get the "hold back", so they are making money on the car, not a lot, but they are allowed to make a profit so the price was reasonable, but the low ball on the trade and the carfax BS is where they lost the sale. I was ready to buy when I arrived, but the lack of contact by anyone made me rethink that decision. The trade in number just sealed the deal. I did stop by the Toyota dealer near my Florida residence earlier this month, I was greeted, shown a vehicle, treated well, and that dealership made a good first impression. I recently purchased a Certified Used Toyota RAV4 from Rockingham Toyota. Terry Wong and Jenn Lilly were very friendly and helpful. This was the second car that I purchased in two months and the second time was just as good as the first. I have dealt with quite a few dealers over the years and I have left them wondering if I got a good deal or was I double talked, I am happy to say that this definitely was not the case in my two new car purchases at Rockingham Toyota. Just got home with our shiny new RAV4 and I must say, this is the first time I've ever had a pleasant experience buying a car. Everybody at Rockingham was a pleasure but Jen was outstanding. Personable, friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, and always respectful of our needs and budget limitations. Not once did we feel pressured or pitched. Negotiations were a breeze and we got a price we're very happy with. Jen even set up the technical features of the car for us before we drove it off the lot. She also volunteered to pick us up at home so we could finish the transaction: Astounding. We visited several local dealerships before settling on a choice and while every other salesperson we talked with gave us the creeps one way or the other, dealing with Jen was like dealing with a friend. The only downside we experienced was that the first Sunday afternoon we dropped by the dealership was so busy we decided to walk out and come back another day. But I'm glad we did. There's a reason the place is so mobbed: They're great at what they do. We'll be back when our other aging car finally gives up the ghost. (But not on a Sunday.) More

My husband and I purchased a 2013 Highlander on February 28, 2013. Bob Copley salesman did a great job helping us.
