This is the fourth new car I bought from a dealership and it is by far the smoothest transaction. There was no pressure at any point to make any choice. We decided try to Rockingham Toyota because it is located close to my husbands place of employment. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful. Jen Lilly was a pleasure to work with and we never felt pressured from the test drive to signing the papers. Jen took the time to show us all the features of our new Camry including syncing both our phones to the Bluetooth and gave us her cell number in case we have any questions about the car. We would recommend Jen to anyone. More
Overall my experience was good, although I felt like I could have gotten a better rate at another dealership based on numbers that I saw on Truecar.com. It seems like the Toyota ads for leases are somewhat confusing as they do not clarify the model type or effective interest rate for the terms of the lease. Jennifer was very good, especially when it was time to go over the car features. The only gripe I had was that the vehicle did not have anything showing that it was a demo car for the dealership, and it had about 1020 miles on it which we did not know about until we were almost done with the deal. My wife and I decided it was time to trade in our 2003 Corolla with almost 208,000 miles on it, for a new 2013 Corolla. I went on the Rockingham Toyota website, and browsed for inventory. After selecting a car and entering my information I pressed "send". Honestly, I did not have much faith that I would be contacted mainly because I figured I was just a "number" on an internet car website. I was wrong. Within about 20 minutes or less, I was emailed by Craig Vacca confirming my entry. Mr. Vacca also called shortly thereafter. I told my wife that I was surprised at this and that we needed to give this dealership priority if we are serious about trading in the car. We arrived at the dealership the next day at about 10:30 AM. We met with Mr. Vacca who greeted us politely right away. Josh Shepard was also standing there. Mr. Shepard would work with Mr. Vacca to bring us to the sales floor and begin to "get the ball rolling" on our request. From the test drive, to the crunching of the numbers, to the entire car presentation (which I thought Mr. Shepard was very knowledgeable in), all the way down to the finance, the experience was very enjoyable. Mr. Shepard even went to the Massachusetts registry for us and waited in line for almost an hour to transfer our plates and get new ones. This all happened the very same day. I should also point out that the sales manager, Marc Smith was great to work with. He listened to us, respected us, and was very professional. The finance employee was also top notch. Nelson, our sales consultant, was knowledgeable, cordial, and even when it looked as though the deal was going 'south', still confident and honest. All of our questions were answered, and we felt as though he was working for us. I applaud the Rockingham Toyota sales management staff and finance departments for working with us on what we felt was a fair price on a trade, new automobile pricing, and offering competitive options for financing. We will likely be returning down the road to trade and buy again! More
My husband first met David Turturro on Friday while having our Camry serviced and told David he'd be back on Saturday so he could sell me a RAV-4. When we arrived Saturday morning, David had a silver RAV-4 (just what I wanted) running right outside the door so we could go for a test drive. Never took the test drive but we drove home with our 7th Toyota from Rockingham. David was wonderful to work with, walking us through everything including chocolate chip cookies. Upon arrival for our appointment, we were introduced to a friendly and knowledgeable employee (Markus) who offered to assist us while the assigned sales representative (Bob Stabile) was with another customer. We looked at a few models and then took one out for a test drive. Markus was very pleasant and helpful and left us with a positive impression. I received a text message the next day advising me to call the dealership to receive pricing information about two new vehicles and also about the trade-in value of our 2007 RAV4. Eventually, I was able to reach an agreement with Marc Smith regarding a purchase price for a 2013 Toyota RAV4. The evening we arrived to pick up our new car was also very positive. The car exceeds all of our expectations and my wife is very pleased with the options and advanced features. The salesperson (Bob Stabile) was extraordinarily helpful and went over all of the vehicle's options including pairing my wife's cell phone using the car's bluetooth capability. It is always exciting to purchase a new car and our experience at Rockingham Toyota made the event even more satisfying. Thank you for the high level of customer service! More
Yesterday my family took delivery of our 4th Toyota from Rockingham, a 2013 RAV-4 Limited. Each time we have worked with this dealership, they have jumped through hoops to get us the vehicle we wanted in a Rockingham, a 2013 RAV-4 Limited. Each time we have worked with this dealership, they have jumped through hoops to get us the vehicle we wanted in a price range that fit our budget. With two children ages 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 years old, our schedules are very chaotic and unpredictable. They were very flexible with scheduling our appointments. During one of our visits, we had both children with us and the staff was great - letting them explore the cars in the show room, giving them chocolate chip cookies and something to drink, and putting up with their general toddler antics. Rockingham was very flexible with our needs and gave us a phenomenal deal on both our trade in as well as the new vehicle. David Turturro was a pleasure to work with and we plan on seeing him again next spring when we trade in my husband's Tundra at the end of his lease. Having a young family himself, he was very patient with us and our rambunctious kids. We will always be a Toyota family! More
In brief, I would highly recommend Jennifer to anyone I know who is interested in buying a Toyota or Scion. She is not the typical salesperson that I am accustomed to (loud, pushy etc). She is a rather rare individual in that she blend the sales function with a great personality, so that when I left with my car I felt that I bought it from a friend. More
