I purchased my 2007 Toyota Camry at Rockingham and have taken it there for six years of service. My previous car was serviced there, as well. Until a year or so ago, I would have recommended the Rockingham taken it there for six years of service. My previous car was serviced there, as well. Until a year or so ago, I would have recommended the Rockingham Toyota service dept. without reservations. Today was my last visit there forever, and I will be looking for someplace else to take my car for service and for purchasing my next car. I no longer trust this dealer. I am tired of going in for a routine oil change and then being shown some random part from my car that they say needs to be replaced. This is something new, and it truly feels like a ploy to squeeze some more money out of me. Also, I notice this very same thing happening to other women sitting in the waiting room...never to men. I am the first one to admit that I know very little about my car, but I have always felt I was being given good advice by the service dept. Something has changed. I feel as if I have to be on guard every time I go in. I know Rockingham is building a huge, new dealership up on Route 28 in Salem, NH. I don't want to have the squeeze put on me to help pay for their expensive new business. Today, I decided to give them one last chance. I took the car in for an oil change and told the service man I did not want any parts beyond the oil change removed from my car. I was asked to sign a paper that said I did not want "any safety check done" on my car. I explained that they could tell me if something looked wrong, but I did not want to show me some meaningless part that might have just be sitting on the shelf out back waiting to be shown to some unsuspecting woman. I must have made my point because, for the first time in a long time, they didn't try to sell me something else. However, when the oil change was completed, the service manager told me the cost would be much lower than all my other oil changes by about $17. At first, I thought I was being given some kind of discount, but then I remembered where I was and asked if they had put in the synthetic oil they've been putting in for the last 6 years. After quite a wait, the service manager came back to say they had put in non-synthetic oil and then went on to say that was OK because my car could take both types of oil. I was furious. Why, after six years of synthetic oil which they told me I HAD to use all these years, did they just arbitrarily make the change without saying anything. They have my records on the computer. The car has never been serviced anywhere else. What on earth is going on with this place? I insisted that they take the car back in, drain it, and replace the oil with synthetic. I honestly have no idea what they did and feel I have to go someplace else tomorrow to see if they really did what they said. One of my friends stopped going there last year for this very reason. So, all trust has been broken. I will not go back to Rockingham Toyota for anything. More

I decided to look for a Toyota dealer with a female salesperson. I discovered (I believe on this website) some wonderful reviews about a woman named Jennifer Lilly at Rockingham Toyota. I called and set an appointment. She is as wonderful as the other customers have stated. Extremely customer service oriented...very sincere, high energy. I have never felt more comfortable with a car salesperson. So if you have had an unpleasant/uncomfortable experience elsewhere, it is worth the drive to New Hampshire. The dealership is very clean and has a nice waiting/t.v. area with warm cookies! More
Went for service with the possibility of purchase of a new car. Tim from service brought me over to sales and Bob (his business card is in my car so I really don't remember his last name) and he was very new car. I have bought vehicles for the past 40 years and this is the first time in all those years that the experience was extremely pleasant. I had visited another dealership in Manchester NH earlier in the week the first time in all those years that the experience was extremely pleasant. I had visited another dealership in Manchester NH earlier in the week to buy a new car and was 98% sold on the car. I was waiting for the final price when the so called sales manager came over and started his BS act. His behavior and attitude killed the sales. and walked out because the sales manager was so rude. So I get home and look on line at other dealerships. I called Rockingham Toyota and speak to Christina which is very pleasant and not pushy at all. I tell her exactly what I am looking for and she said she would look what she can find and call me back. She calls back a short time later and tells me she doesn't have the exact car because of the color. She has a car with everything I am looking for except color and offers it for a test drive at my convenience. So Friday morning I go down to see what they have. Driving down I am apprehensive due to my terrible experience with the Manchester dealership. Here is why I rated this dealership the way I did. When I walked in I was greeted with a friendly person and I asked for Christina. I was brought over to her and she was down to earth and extremely honest. We talked about the car I was looking for and she introduced me to Josh a salesman. Josh and I went for a ride and he was extremely knowledgeable of the car. As we drove he explained so many features the car had. They found a car in New England that was a perfect match so they contacted the dealer to try and get it for me. The car was being used by a dealer as a demo so that was not for me. They had a 2013 Toyota XLE Hybrid the color I wanted but extras that I really didn't want. In comes Rob the sales manager and sits down with Josh and I. First of all he had a professional appearance and demeanor. He spoke to you with respect and appeared to be honest. Over 30 years as a law enforcement officer (They had no knowledge of my law enforcement experience and never told them) I can tell when the BS is being put out. This is the first time I have bought a car in my lifetime where the sales manager was not acting like he is so much better then the customer and giving you a bunch of BS. Still I had my guard up after what I had experienced earlier in the week one can never be to sure. Rob and I talked price with Josh right there. None of this back and forth like other places. We agreed on a price brought my wife down in the afternoon after she got out of work. She received a pleasant greeting from everyone. Josh spent over an hour going over the car in the car showing her everything. This is her car. It was nice and clean, red bow on it for her. Now to the finance part. This was no pressure as well and extremely well done. They close at 6 we were still doing paperwork and didn't leave until 7:20. They never rushed us and the entire experience was no pressure, pleasant and not stressful like it has been in the past at other dealerships. I know this is long but had to tell you why I rated them like I did. I would deal with them again without hesitation. More
We bought a used 2009 Prius here in 2012 with Jay, and ever since have driven all the way up from Mass to get it and our other Toyota serviced because they treat us so well. They're super friendly, fast, informative, thorough, and personable. It's one of the best-run businesses of any kind that I remember experiencing. I have come to genuinely trust these people, in spite of my basic distrust of anyone who takes my money to work on my car. I onow these people all by name now, and they know me. They even have fresh-baked cookies in the waiting room. More

I have also worked with Bob Stabile purchasing a prior vehicle and had a good experience working with him as well. I would highly recommend this dealership and will continue to do business there.
