Rockingham Honda gave me an amazing deal on my 2009 Honda Civic EXL. I didn't even have to negotiate to get below MSRP. This is in stark contrast to Autofair in Manchester. On Monday March 01, 2010, my wife Brenna calls the service department to schedule our first oil change on our 2009 Honda CR-V. After work, I came home and picked up Brenna and headed to Salem for our service department to schedule our first oil change on our 2009 Honda CR-V. After work, I came home and picked up Brenna and headed to Salem for our appointment. When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile,and a hello from Rick Barboza. Rick immediately waited on us, with the utmost quality customer service, and showed us where the waiting area was. While waiting for the service to be done, we walked over to the sales department, to see our salesman Miguel Genao. He jumped up from his desk, and greeted us both with a smile, handshake and a hug. We chatted for a few minutes, and we discussed how we are looking forward to purchasing our next CR-V, and going up to the next model. The quality, friendly, customer service we receive from Rockingham Honda is the "BEST" around. We look forward to being satisfied customers for many years to come. Jerry was very professional at leaving a detailed message on our answering machine, and when I returned his call, he was happy to answer all our questions. We will be making our first service appointment for an oil change, and we are looking forward to receiving great quality, customer service from the service department. Both salesmen were cheerful, helpful, and knowlegable, even though we were buying a Nissan at a Honda dealership. We got the feeling that they both really love cars. Ordinarily I would rather have root canal work done than buy a car. However these two young men did much to make the experience the most pleasant automobile purchase I have ever made. The dealership's courtesy services after the sale were especially appreciated. We had all done our "homework", and the purchase negotiations went smoothly. They were refreshingly forthright about pricing and fees. We never felt pressured, and they were respectful of our budget. We got much more car than we had been anticipating, for only a few hundred dollars more than we had hoped to spend. They also seemed pleased, so I suspect that they got a decent return on their investment as well. We all went home smiling. I have already mentioned this purchase to several of my colleagues. More
Visited several Honda dealers looking for a 2009 Ridgeline leftover. Went in late on a Sat. afternoon and knew what we wanted and what we felt was a good deal. When Atamian Honda refused to honor the internet price I got from them (despite copies of emails confirming the quote and conditions), I headed up to Rockingham Honda after getting an online quote from Aman got from them (despite copies of emails confirming the quote and conditions), I headed up to Rockingham Honda after getting an online quote from Amanda that was $250 better than Atamian's. When I arrived, they confirmed the price and in just over an hour I had picked out a CR-V, completed the paperwork, and was on my way. Delivery was delayed because I was trading a clunker and the feds were moving slowly with the paperwork. Up until the time I took delivery, I was expecting some unrevealed added charge or other condition that would sour the deal. But all was as promised. Jerry Malone was always polite and helpful when I called to check the progress of the clunker paperwork, and Jason (the salesperson who delivered the car) was also helpful and professional. In all, it was a straightforward, honest, pleasant transaction -- all you might hope for in a new-car buying experience. I must admit I was a bit cynical about the perfect rating of this dealer. After writing a negative review about another dealer, I received five emails pressuring me to alter my rating before it was posted, so I suspect than many negative reviews are revised or eliminated along the way. But Rockingham lives up to its reviews -- I have no reservations about giving them a "5" on all counts. More
