Mr. Curt Grenier is truly a service man that you would want to do business with. He's understanding and empathetic regardless of who you are and where you come from. When I found out that my Honda Passport 2000 was a recall, I made a few phone calls close to home to the Honda Dealerships to get it inspected for the recall. One Honda Dealership, COMMONWEALTH HONDA,(PLEASE DON'T EVER GO THERE) refused to do inspection because "supposedly they didn't have the proper equipment to inspect for the recall" Anyhow, Mr. Curt and staff were more than happy to inspect my vehicle even without a prior appointment and was even more gracious enough to help submit the proper documents in regards to the recall to Honda headquarters. Rockingham Honda and staff are truly a trustworthy and reliable dealership to go to. They're honest, unprejudiced, and ungreedy, just the type of people you would like in servicing your car. More
I love Rockingham Honda. I just bought my second vehicle in 4 years from them. I received a good price and did not have one minute of the typical car shopping experience. When I called back after getting the price the next day they held the car I wanted with a verbal commitment over the phone for two days. What car dealer would do that. The best part was I had a pre approved loan from a bank and they got me a much better rate. It saved me 35.00 a month. We are buying another car after the first of the year and I will be heading back to Rockingham. If you don't enjoy the car buying experience like I don't you really need to give Rockingham a try. While we were trying to decide on which car we would buy we did visit their two other dealerships and will say I had the same experience while shopping there also. No pressure and pricing is not a secret. They do a great job. More
I absolutely hate buying cars and I have to say this was by far my most pleasurable experience purchasing a car. My husband went on the internet to request bids from the surrounding Honda dealers. Rockingham Honda emailed him immediately with a price that was far superior to any other dealer in the area. We were shocked because in the past Rockingham was notoriously higher than any other dealer. My husband called immediately to make sure they did not make a mistake regarding the price. They told him that was the price. We went in that night, they honored the price as quoted. There was no pressure to purchase the car. We decided to put a deposit on the car and pick it up later in the week. I called the next day to get the payoff figure. Days later I went to pick up the car. It took no more than 10 minutes to sign the papers. Josh went through all the features of the auto and even set up my blue tooth. I cannot tell you how easy, and hassle free this sale was. My best ever experience buying a car. I would send my friends and family back to Rockingham in a heart beat. I highly recommend Josh - he is the best. Jerry (the business/sales manager) knows what he is doing, is organized and executed a smooth sale. More

Financing was a peice of cake, no trying to haggle interest rate, and the dealership did not purposely raise my interest rate to get a kick back. Overall the purchase was painless and easy!! I only had to visit them twice before making a deal, once to talk numbers, and after calling them to see if they would given me another 1,000 dollars for my trade, which they did, the deal was made. I test drove the vehicle, the finance guy got me the 1.9% honda financing, and in a couple days I signed papers and picked up my new truck that I love. Minor issue with the trunk and a missing electical peice that they forgot to install when the vehicle first arrived, but they immediatly brought it into the service area and fixed it. I also visited Commonwealth Honda, they were horrible, do not go there!! They do not like educated customers, so unless you want to take the lowest possible money for your trade and pay MSRP, don't waste your time! Autofair was playing games with prices, they magically seemed to change there offer everytime I called... and the price for the new vehicle kept going up and my trade value kept going down!! Peters Honda gave me a great price, or so I thought, on a 2010, which ended up being the same price I got the 2011 brand new truck from Rockingham. I was not told for several days, after negotiating, that the vehicles were demos with "5,000 miles on them". I was then told that I wiuld not be able to get the low financing since they were giving me "such a good deal" on the vehicle. After wasting my time driving to the dealership I arrive to find one vehicle parked at the dealership, I was told both of them would be there, but per the internet salesman named Luke, the other one was being driven by the owner and he just left... I was then told that the vehicle had more like 6500 miles on it, not to mention the loads of scratches on the rear bumper. I then asked what Luke could do on a new 2011 RTL on the lot, I was told "oh thats a 2011 we cannot dicount that". Needless to say I walked away and after my third time wasting my time there, never to return. Come to find out from Rockhngham Honda the real reason I could not get low financing is because in NH any vehicle with over 6,000 miles has to be sold as used! So don't go to peters either, they are obviouly very deceptive!! More
I'm very happy to finally buy a car from this dealership. They have serviced my previous cars for years but in the past they were not competitive on new car prices. Not anymore! A couple of weeks after our purchase of a new vehicle we received a welcoming letter by the owner Mr. Emmett Horgan. He also included his personal e-mail to contact him for anything. Now mind you I gave a glowing review on this site for Rockingham Honda on our recent purchase and was the absolute best car buying experience I have ever had and I stick by that. However I contacted Mr. Horgan on his personal e-mail he provided to let him know of the great experience and to also tell him he earned my business back. I told him 10 years ago I did not have the best of experience there but was willing to give them another shot since my wife talked me into it. I also explained to him how wonderful the experience was and would not hesitate referring family and friends there. Well never got a response back. I wrote again to make sure he got the e-mail and again never wrote back. The moral here is I am not sure that his letter meant anything now and that it is just fluff. I would think my prior and current experience there would get some sort of reply. It should whether it is by him or someone else that answers his e-mails. It has been almost three weeks now and just very dissapointed on that. Don't send out those letters unless you truly mean what you say. I took the time to write you and would expect the same back. More
This is the 2nd Honda purchased from Rockingham, by far the best customer oriented and has demonstrated the best "people" skills.... The other dealers we were working with (Commonwealth & Atamian) were ver the best customer oriented and has demonstrated the best "people" skills.... The other dealers we were working with (Commonwealth & Atamian) were very pushy, arrogant even. Full of how "great" their prices are that they failed in getting the sale b/c of how full of themselves they are and that attitude is a big turn off and deal squasher in my eyes! Never did we feel pressured @ Rockingham, they were very pleasant, patient and eager to work with us and be as helpful as possible, would buy from them again! More
On Friday May 28, 2010, I call Rocking Honda Service Department, and speak with Andrew to schedule our 2010 State Inspection on 2009 Honda CR-V. Our appointment is scheduled for Thursday June 03, at 6:30 pm. After work, I came home and picked up Brenna and headed to Salem for our appointment. When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile,and a hello from the Service Department. We received immediate attention, with the utmost quality customer service, and were shown the waiting room. While waiting for the service to be done, we walked over to the sales department, to see our salesman Miguel Genao. He jumped up from his desk, and greeted us both with a smile, handshake and a hug. We chatted for a few minutes, and we discussed how we are looking forward to purchasing our next CR-V, and going up to the next model. The quality, friendly, customer service we receive from Rockingham Honda is the "BEST" around. We look forward to being satisfied customers for many years to come. Thanks once again Rockingham Honda, for being so compassionate, and caring with your customers. We are so proud of the outstanding customer service you offer. He was so nice and friendly in dealing with us. He spent as much time with us as we needed answering questions, going over the vehicle, and test driving. He is just a wonderful person and sales person and would out any hesitation recommend him to deal with. We will miss seeing him but maybe when we have service we will say hi. Also not one time did anyone pressure us. They were honest, kind and willing to meet our needs no matter what. I will definetly recommend Rockingham Honda to family and friends. More
