My calls were returned quickly and they spent time finding me a great interest rate. When all was said and done they did exactly what I asked of them. The day I picked up my vehicle Ryan spent time playing & running around with my 2 year old so my husband and I could sign paperwork without being distracted. I have purchased many many cars through the years, this one was for my wife, I approached 5 Honda dealerships in my area to negotiate the purchase of a new Honda CRV. I gave each dealership the opportunity one was for my wife, I approached 5 Honda dealerships in my area to negotiate the purchase of a new Honda CRV. I gave each dealership the opportunity to value my wife's car for trade in, told them all I would send them an e-mail and the best price would win my business. Three of the dealerships adopted the medieval sales approach used on most customers. (How much do you want to spend a week/month.....we will save you loads of money......buy now for best deal.......come to us last etc etc). Garrett Neville at Rockingham listened to what I wanted, listened to how I was going to approach the purchase. Then evaluated the trade in for my wife's car without any kind of the "usual" sales pressure and the “get you to buy now” techniques, employed by some of his so called professional colleagues at the other dealerships. Without being prompted he sent me an e-mail with his price of the car I was going to buy and trade in value. I accepted his price (it was the best anyway) drove to the dealership met up with Garrett’s colleague Ryan, saw the car had my wife take it for a test drive and bought it at the agreed price without any fuss. By far the easiest car purchase I have ever made, totally non combative, zero sales gimmicks. They were straight, dealt fair, know their business and clearly understand the modern consumer. When my wife picked up her new car two days later, they treated her with great respect and spent quality time showing her around her new vehicle. I am not in the habit of completing these types of survey’s but these folks get an A+ rating and I am already looking forward to buying my new car from them in the near future……(and I wasn’t even going to buy a Honda)....... As for the sales teams from the “other Honda dealerships……Honda USA if you read this, seriously consider sending some sales managers to Rockingham to learn how to deal with the modern consumer. I will not name the dealership….but this is a direct quote from their “sales” rep: Charles, Management at XXXXXXX respectively declines opportunity to bid on your business . Other dealerships throw out #'s then use deceptive practices once you come in. We enjoy the reputation for best prices and Presidential level customer service. Thank you for your consideration, looking forward to seeing you again Wow and this guy sells cars for a living……or not in this case……..Can you imagine trying to buy any consumer product and having the retailer tell you that they decline your business. As for Rockingham and deceptive practices…….classic could not be further from the truth…….just go buy a car from them, and no they did not pay me for this….mind you when I buy my Accord I expect another xxxx good deal! I gave the rating of 5 stars because I really felt from start to finish, our service from Rockingham Toyota and Ryan Spada was exceptional. We went to previous dealerships before finding Rockingham Toyota and either the sales people were very pushy, caught in a lie, or completely unprofessional. One dealer at a competitive Honda dealership up the road looked disheveled and dressed inappropriately to be a salesman. He told us that the vehicle that he was showing us on the lot was the "only one" in fact when I mentioned I wanted leather interior, he made a few calls and magically, there was another one in their adjacent lot. Ryan was very professional from start to finish. He had a warm and welcoming personality. He was dressed professionally and carried himself in a professional and easy going manner. He took his time and understood our needs and placed us with the vehicle that fit our family description and budget. He was not pushy when it came to pricing either and made sure we were comfortable with every step of the process. I did not feel pressured nor forced to buy a car. I actually test drove the car I bought a few times on different occasions before I even sat down with Ryan and began the buying process. He was very knowledgeable about his cars, the process of buying from the dealer and consumer end, and was well prepared to answer any questions. He even came in on his day off after the purchase of the vehicle to meet with us during our pick up to go over any questions we had. He is very passionate not only about the cars he sells, but also his customer service. If I were to buy another car, I would definitely go with Ryan and Rockingham Honda. I am happy with my service and I think the people who own this business should be please that they have such a great employee who represents their company well. More
