The person they sent was Gene Swanker and although the price was high he was a wonderful person and did everything he could to make the trip pleasant. It was ALMOST worth the breakdown to be around A person like him. More

They sneak all this extra insurance in on you and you really dont realize it till it's to late. So dont be a fool like I was and let them pull a fast one on you !!! Be careful cause now we have to refinance and we dont even have the camper yet !! Like I said when they start shoving these papers at you to sign take your time and read them !! More

They sell mallards but won't help after the sale This Camping World is the worst one in the nation. When you go back for service you're better off just taking it to somebody else. I came in asking th This Camping World is the worst one in the nation. When you go back for service you're better off just taking it to somebody else. I came in asking them about a slide out if it was ever stuck how would I put it back in. Being proactive I decided to learn before I went on a long-haul trip. I was told by the service manager that all Mallards are different even though mine was a newer model I needed to contact the manufacturer. Bottom line is your warranties over unless you want to pay big bucks to talk to somebody kiss off. More

Hot water heater was t Rv was in for service May 1. 6 month old RV bought at their store. They had it for the month. 3 things were on the repair list. Hot water heater was the main issue I had been trying to get them to fix the the entire month of April. Voice messages were ignored, promises to call back weren't kept. We set up our RV this week and discovered the water heater situation unchanged. I was told there was nothing about this being worked on in my file. We are set up in a rural area and do not have the ability to bring it in. The service manager seems to think I have nothing better to do than run in and out and try and fix it via a phone call. My husband and son are currently trying to fix it. He also made no effort to get back to me after I emailed photos Monday. I had to call him 24 hours later to remind him I still existed. He needs to learn how not to talk to women. I would give them a negative review if I could. Calls to general manager went unanswered. Receptionist hung up on me when I said I was calling their corporate office. A reputable business would apologize and send a technician out to remedy the situation. The only competent person I have dealt with is Gene their driver. More
Constant disappointment. I haven't even received my camper yet and I'm already sick of Camping World. I purchased a used 2012 Forest River Wildwood DLX 39' that was in great c I haven't even received my camper yet and I'm already sick of Camping World. I purchased a used 2012 Forest River Wildwood DLX 39' that was in great condition. Before delivery I had them install slide roller awnings on the 2 slide outs. They took 2 weeks to arrive. Thats not their fault. I understand that. Unless of course they weren't ordered till a week after. I had arranged my work schedule to drive the 2 hours to get there to do the walk through, check functionality, and finish paper work on a Thursday. But I received a call wednesday that said the awnings were not going to arrive until thursday morning. So, I rescheduled work again to go up on friday, when the said everything would be done and ready to go. When we get there, the roller awning had not been installed yet. So we waited in the lobby for another 2 hours. When it was ready, they did the walk through with me. They still needed to do the detail and cleaning that was worked into the final price to the tune of $1000. They said it would probably be another 4 or 5 hours to get that done. So now it's 3 in the afternoon on a Friday. Not gonna get my camper today either, so we rescheduled again to have it delivered Monday morning. I received a call from the delivery driver at 8 o'clock, Monday morning, saying he hadn't left yet because the service department hadn't emptied the black tank (that I specifically requested) and hadn't put any safety chains on the tongue. And a few other things. The driver, Gene, was cool. Great guy. Thanks for looking out for me. Anyway, the driver is now 30 miles away from me and calls me saying that one of the tires blew out and he's stuck at a rest area because they sent him 2 hours away without a spare tire on the camper. I tell the driver to call them back and make sure they send 2 tires. One for the repair and one as a spare. So my camper is 30 miles away and it will probably be another 3 hours until it moves again. My guess is, the service department didn't even check the air in the tires. The tires were only 2 or 3 years old. I checked. When it gets here I'm pretty sure it's gonna have 20 or 30 lbs of air in the tires. So I once again need to adjust my work schedule to wait on my camper to show up. I'm really fighting the urge to drive up to Asheville, and find out who the person responsible for all this mess is and ask them face to face if this is their idea of "great customer service". More
