Do not walk RUN away from this location. This is a ling one so stay with me. I bought a brand new travel trailer from them in 2019. The buying experience was good but it quickly went down hill from there. When I went to pick it up I had asked and purchased a backup camera and tv to be installed. They had insisted that it was important for them to install the tv as if I put screws through the walls it would be catastrophic. I agreed and the day to pick it up arrived. I go to get it and they had installed nothing I pad for and wanted me to take it anyways. I said no and they said it would be ready in a week. At this point I was going to be out of town so they reluctantly agreed to deliver it. When I got home low and behold they had professionally installed my tv and drove 3 screws through the wall of my brand new travel trailer sticking out about half an inch. I bring it back and it takes them months to fix it along with replacing the microwave that had a screw driven through the top. I go to pic it up after about 6 months and the decals are only half installed and the microwave looks like they gave the tech a butter knife and a rubber mallet as his only tools to install. I was told by Darren the decals were lost and they would call me when the new ones come in. 4-5 months roll by and I call to see where the decals are and they have no idea what I'm talking about. They order them and I bring it back, while Im there I let them know the counter top behind the range is falling in and the slide wall is coming apart. This is when I learned Darrens favorite saying "if they take it apart then it wont be the same so i recommend just leaving it". No kidding it wont be the same because its broken and I want it to be fixed. It took for attempts by them to fix the countertop and its still not right. Darren then tells me the manufacturer wont authorize a better fix. So this is a continuous back and fourth and a learning experience of the pure incompetence of this store. After learning that the repairs i do to it are ten times better then the work they do I decide to cancel my extended warranties and send in all the necessary paperwork to do so. That was eight weeks ago and as i sit here typing this I await the phone call I have been promised 10 times now that never comes. I have had to send them the paperwork twice already. So the only recommendation I have for this place is if you have a hated and worst enemy buy them a gift card for this location for the holidays. More

Marcus, Tom, Jason, Theresa, and the general manager Stephen from the store in Columbia SC where I bought it. They have been helping me find a place to get it fixed and back on the road. Ray Jeter, Keith, Devine, Blake, and Adam at the Columbia branch were the people I initially dealt with and have been amazing since day one. In Savannah Georgia where I needed to stop also I met Chris Stubs, Bri and Dustin along with the other employees there, they also were amazing people. I appreciate everything they have done and continue to do for me on my journey. I absolutely will not forget how everyone came together to help talk me through everything. All around great people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I am so blessed to have angels like these with me on my journey! More

Called to ask price on camper tires. He talked fast. His price on tires was HIGH. And lowest quality (C) 6 ply tire, was the only tire he could get. For the 2 tires $431.50.Their are other tire companies ou price on tires was HIGH. And lowest quality (C) 6 ply tire, was the only tire he could get. For the 2 tires $431.50.Their are other tire companies out their. I found a (D) 8 ply tire, higher quality tire at Good Year. For the 2 at $320.00. That’s a big difference I’m saving $110! Camping World is Way OVER PRICED!!! More

It’s at Camping World now and can not get anyone to look at it when it’s raining. This leak didn’t happen overnight. Know one at the Greenwood, IN location will take it seriously. I’m told it’s a process. It’s a freaking roof leak.🤪 More

Camping world sold us a brand new RV. We sat with the dealer, manager, and finance and signed all the papers. The next day they called to say “oops, we actually already sold the unit you just bought, so dealer, manager, and finance and signed all the papers. The next day they called to say “oops, we actually already sold the unit you just bought, so all we have is this lesser model” - We needed an RV, like you probably do, so even though that was a huge red flag, we went forward. What a mistake. I’ve been stranded at a truck stop in Virginia (from MA) for 24+ hours. On the first trip with the brand new 2021 Sunseeker, I lost complete control of my brakes and power steering on the highway going 70. I pulled over into the shoulder to let the 14000 lb vehicle slow itself down. Luckily the shoulder was clear. I carefully made my way to a safe truck rest stop - and I’ve been here ever since. I called camping world, who have a service center < 20 miles away, and all they had for me was “call good Sam”. Ive got about 15 calls into Good Sam now and they’ve sent nobody. Camping World made no attempt to help me at all. This vehicle has < 2k miles on it. It is brand brand new. I popped the hood to see what’s up and the power steering compression hose is completely disconnected and pouring steering fluid. I’ve been stranded now 24+ hours with no hope of rescue thanks to Camping World. They don’t seem to care much, so I’m going to make use of this time writing reviews in as many places as I can until they do. More
Purchased a trailer online in April. After several weeks, I was informed that my shipment was delayed. I called to request ETA estimate and was promised a return call. No return call came. I called again after a few days and again a return call was promised, no call came. Finally, I received a call from the logistics company to schedule delivery (Surprise!), which I took time away from work to be available. The day of delivery came and went and delivery was a no show. I called the logistics company and was informed “the team went home early.” Several calls back to the logistics implant and I rescheduled my delivery. All this time, I was contacting Camping World as well with no support from them. After finally getting the delivery in June, I discovered that the required certificate of origin was not signed over to me (which the dealer is supposed to do), so I’m unable to get a license plate for it. Having learned that, I again reached back out to Camping world, fully angry by now, an “escalated “ ticket was opened on my behalf. I was promised a return call in 2 business days. No surprise, no return call was made to me. This dealer, XPO Logistics, and the trailer manufacturer C.E.Smith have all dropped the ball on this transaction and am left with a trailer in prices that I can’t use 1/2 way through the summer I bought it for. I’m extremely unhappy and will not recommend this company nor the manufacturer. Although I’m not a direct purchaser for the delivery, I also caution anyone who works with XPO logistics. More
