I went there with my daughter shoping for a new Golf but decided to try out a Jetta due to unavailabilty/difficulty of getting a Golf. Everything appeared to be going on fine even with pricing until the Salesman suddenly felt we must decide immediately and buy right away even though my daughter felt she should sleep over the final offer and come back the next day to conclude the deal. He said "You will not get this deal tomorrow" That's okay I said, I know it is already late at night (a little after 8:00pm their closing time) I hope when we come back tomorrow and if the car is still available, we will get a deal. He raised and changed his tone on us and I cautioned him that he should not address a customer the way he is doing. He ended it all by saying "Do not come back"!!!!! My daughter and I cringed and we felt like being chased away from their delearship. All happened within 30 to 45 minutes, no test drive etc.! This is contrary to all we had heard about this place before. I do not know what came over him but that was not right at all. I after all had called a little before 7:00pm to inquire about their hours and he had encouraged us to come on and even gave us directions and asked us to ask for him. I will file a complaint as I do not think this guy has the interest of the owners at heart. More
Like most people I dread going to a dealership to purchase a vehicle. We were searching for a specific car and knew what options we were looking for. Having seen just about every one of the vehicles purchase a vehicle. We were searching for a specific car and knew what options we were looking for. Having seen just about every one of the vehicles available between Everett and Tacoma we had previously decided to make offers on two other vehicles at different dealerships. Each of those experiences was unsuccessful and filled with the typical games one comes to expect from a car dealer but in hindsight I am now glad that those deals didn't work out. I found a vehicle of interest on Campbell/Nelson's website and contacted their internet sales manager Alan Kemper. After a few questions regarding the car I asked Alan if he would be willing to give me a no bull price for the car. He responded that he needed to do the math and get back to me. Within 5 minutes the phone rang and Alan quoted me a price that surprised me. I actually had to have him repeat it twice to make sure I heard him correctly. I had done exhaustive research on pricing through multiple online pricing services and Alan's number fell well within what I thought was a fair price. Upon arriving at the dealership we inspected the vehicle and found it to be exactly as advertised. In our previous experiences while looking for a car at other dealerships we found some degree of false advertising. While we were test driving the car I asked Alan about the price and wanted to verify that there were no hidden costs that he had not quoted. He said "That's not how we do things". After deciding to purchase the car we went to Alan's office and he wrote up the offer exactly as he had quoted, no surprises, upselling or games of any sort. On to the paperwork with Susie Karle and again no surprises or hidden fees and only mild pressure to purchase extended warranty. Susie respected out decision to decline the warrany and proceeded with the paperwork. I can honestly say that I got more car than I expected at a lower price than I was willing to pay. Overall we left the dealership feeling positive about the whole experience. When looking to purchase a car in the future, Campbell/Nelson will be one of our first stops. Thanks Alan! More
We just bought our first new car in 11 years and cannot say enough positive things about our salesman, Clint Richardson. We will always buy future cars from Clint and highly recommend him. Susie Karle in financing explained all of the paperwork to us thoroughly but painlessly and made sure we understood all of our options. She was also a pleasure to work with. Campbell Nelson is a dealership with high integrity who truely cares about their community; they support many charitible organizations. We got top dollar for our trade in and received excellent terms. We had our former VW serviced at Campbell Nelson for many years and always appreciated their excellent, honest customer service. (Which includes warm cookies and a free car wash.) More

He talked with Todd and after receiving all information Todd called him back that same day and told my husband he could get him a car. We came in the following day and sat down with Todd. He was very professional, courteous all the time, explained everything to us before we went to look at any cars. He asked all the right questions to my husband to get an idea of what kind of car he wanted. My husband found a car he liked. Todd worked out all the details for us and my husband had a car he really really likes. We would gladly recommend anyone who wants to buy a car, and recommend they talk to Todd. I purchased a new Golf TDI from Campbell Nelson recently and I was very happy with the experience. They did not have the exact make/model which I was looking for but Alan got the car for me from a far-fkung and I was very happy with the experience. They did not have the exact make/model which I was looking for but Alan got the car for me from a far-fkung dealership at an attractive price. Saved me a long road-trip as there were few such cars in the state! The price quoted was what I paid out of the door - there were no additional fees or charges tacked on. Susie went over the paperwork with me without "over-selling" me on the extra stuff that I didn't want. Upon delivery, Alan explained the car features to us and made sure that stuff like Bluetooth was setup correctly. After the sale, they followed up with me for feedback on their sales process. Few days later, I got a hand-written thank you note from the owner - now that is classy. Definitely the most friendly and customer-focused dealership I came across during my buying process. Would recommend them to everyone. More
