Even though this was the first Nissan LEAF sale for Campbell-Nelson, Dino was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and took extra time to make sure we were comfortable with it's operation. The business manager (Sharon?) was also well-informed about the LEAF, and had all the necessary forms ready to go and knew where to enter "N/A" for an electric vehicle. I was in need of a new vehicle, as my current car was getting high on mileage and would very soon need a lot of mechanical work. I had to stay within a very tight budget and had a payoff on my current vehicle. Clint & Travis worked with me on every aspect. from the price of the car to my trade in. and susie in finance was a dream. she worked every number, both financing & lease, until we got one that fit my budget. it was a most pleasant experience and hopefully the start of a great car relationship. i'd recommend them to anyone. i just love my new Nissan Rogue. Clint Richardson has been from Campbell Nelson and I can say without a doubt that I've been very happy with both the Sales and Service departments. Clint Richardson has been my go-to person for sales. I trust him to steer me in the right direction. Lee Sutcliffe has also been a wonderful resource and so pleasant to work with on the service side of things. Until recently, he was my main contact (he's since moved into another role). I can call either Clint or Lee at any time to ask a question - and I have! They have always responded quickly and positively. More
I shopped over a couple off states. Ray at Campbell Nissan still set me up with the best deal. I tonight I'd find lower prices farther out from Seattle...like down in Puyallup or over the water in Bre Nissan still set me up with the best deal. Not only did I find a great salesman at Campbell Nelson, but a new friend as well! Just last week Clint came to my house to help we locate a missing key for my car. This was unbelievable to me. He generously gave of his evening time with family to come to my aid. That particular night was cold, blowing like mad and there in the midst of it all was Clint, attempting to help a previous customer! My wife and I went into Campbell Nelson, on a Saturday, because they had two of the cars we were interested in comparing; Ford Focus and a Jetta TDI and we went in with no intention of purchasing a car tha because they had two of the cars we were interested in comparing; Ford Focus and a Jetta TDI and we went in with no intention of purchasing a car that day. Dino Tukes joined us when we told the receptionist that we would like to talk to a salesman and she called for sales assistance - no sales approach. Dino was cheerful and knowledgeable, with only a bit of the usual sales questions and "setting the stage" comments. He helped us compare the cars, pointed out the various features and answered our questions. We took both the cars on a fairly lengthy evaluation drive. When complete, Dino did ask whether we wanted to buy, but we hadn't really discussed whether an so he allowed us a lengthy time to talk, purchased my wife a mocha and provided us the CARFAX sheet on the Jetta. We decided that we would take the Jetta TDI if we could negotiate a price more in our price range. We gathered Dino and entered negotiations; which were pretty painless and relatively pleasant, and were able to negotiate a deal. Campbell Nelson cleaned the car and we met with the financial manager to sign the paperwork; which only took about 10 minutes. We thought we were going to have to obtain a certified check and did not have our personal checkbook with us so were prepared to go to the credit union to obtain it. However, he allowed us to bring in a personal check on the following Sunday. Campbell Nelson also provides one with a free first oil change and we were told that if we had our maintenance checks done there, every 3rd oil change was free. In summary, a rather pleasant and easy car purchase. More
I was very pleased with John Kelch. He was very helpful and he knew what I wanted and worked with me. There was no pressure. I set out to buy a new Nissan Versa and initially contacted all the local Nissan dealerships via email. John Kelch was who I contacted at Campbell Nelson Nissan. I offered a low price based on my research and although John initially refused the price and countered with a much higher offer, when I told him I was offered lower prices at other dealerships he offered to beat those prices. He wouldn't give me a quote over email, but we spoke on the phone and he told me he was "99.9% sure" he could get the price I wanted, a price that was $100 lower than the next lowest dealership offer. The price was pretty amazingly good so I was worried there would be some kind of "complication" once I actually arrived at the dealership, but no, John was true to his word and there wasn't any negotiating at all, everything was ready to go just as I had hoped. Even when I started thinking that I might want to buy an automatic instead of the manual we had discussed, there was no pressure from John and we talked about both the pros and the cons of each. I was really impressed and pleased with how positive and easy the whole experience was. Later, when I dealt the Cecil the business manager, he didn't even remotely pressure me about the add-ons, and when I expressed interest in the extended warranty but was concerned about the increase in my monthly payment, he got me a lower interest rate so that the impact would be less. I spent so much time practicing the responses I would give when I was faced with the inevitable high pressure sales tactics, bait and switch, good salesperson/bad salesperson, etc., but none of that happened at all. I really couldn't be happier with my experience at Campbell Nelson and I won't hesitate to refer my friends and family to John Kelch. More
