After trying out some competing models, we got serious about negotiating on the new model. John was friendly and open to giving us time to drive the car again and continue our exploration. Upon our third visit, we asked John more questions about the car and this time started to engage around pricing/financing options. John spent a good deal of time with us and helped us to get comfortable with the various options. He was very personable, professional, and forthcoming and he never pressured us. In fact, we appreciated his sense of humor as we tussled with the decision. After having purchased a car from John, we both feel like we made the right choice and his support was a huge plus. We also worked with Cecil on the paperwork end and he provided some helpful counsel as we weighed options for extended warranties. In the end, Amy and I have both bought a handful of cars and this experience really was the best all around. Incredible service. I took my used Nissan Altima in after about a month of purchasing it, after it suddenly got stuck in fifth gear while driving on the freeway. They found what they thought was the p after about a month of purchasing it, after it suddenly got stuck in fifth gear while driving on the freeway. They found what they thought was the problem and I was on my way the next day. The problem arose again, and they took a couple days to assess the problem and corrected it. They even took the car home and drove it back the next morning to make sure the problem would not come back again. They even took care of the deductible for me! He didn't show my a bunch of cars that weren't what I was looking for, like a lot of salesman seem to do. Everyone there was quite freindly and it just didn't seem like your typical car dealer or car purchasing experience, the negotiations were quite easy, no pressure and very fair. I would highly recommend this dealer and John to anyone in the market for a car. More

We were looking for a used Pro-4X Xterra with low mileage and found one listed online at Campbell Nelson. The problem was we live over 200 miles away. We called the dealership to get more information and f and found one listed online at Campbell Nelson. The problem was we live over 200 miles away. We called the dealership to get more information and feel very fortunate that Greg Skartvedt answered the call. He was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to answer many questions before we made the long drive. We even asked him to verify the height of the vehicle to make sure it would fit in the garage. So, he went outside and measured it and gave us a call back. When we arrived at the dealership after our 5 hour drive, Greg was very welcoming and had the Pro-4X Xterra ready for us to test drive. He was very knowledgable about the Xterra and answered all of our questions. Once we decided to purchase the Xterra, we needed to go to a local bank. Since we weren't familiar with the area, Greg drove us to the bank (in the Xterra) which saved time and frustration for us. Buying a car from a dealership can be a stressful experience. However, Greg's honest and friendly way of treating us made the experience a very pleasant one. More

However, buying through a dealership rather than through a private party takes less time and is far more convenient. We researched vehicles and dealerships, and went to several. CampbellNelson is one of several places we selected to visit. I am so glad we did! Mr. Baron Makanvand greeted us and listened to our needs. His calm non-aggressive, no-pressure polished manner put us at ease, and his experienced professionalism gave us confidence in working with him. Our needs and conditions were slightly unusual, and I wasn't sure if we could be accommodated. Mr. Makanvand was sensitive and creative in finding ways to make our purchase not only possible, but pleasant - something I could not previously imagine. He did everything possible to get us what we needed, and we were surprised everything turned out better than we hoped. Their finance manager was also excellent - explained everything clearly, calmly, and answered all our questions. No pressure, trickery or rushing through. We originally intended merely to test-drive a car and see if we liked it and could tolerate the sales staff. Working with Mr. Makanvand absolutely made this a successful purchase, and made if feel like doing business with a family friend. I highly recommend CampbellNelson as a dealership, and specifically recommend working with their best Sales Associate, Baron Makanvand, for the best possible purchase experience. More
