I had been looking for an slightly used Infiniti G25x for a few months and not having much luck. I had done hours of research and knew exactly what price I wanted to pay. After visiting a few dealerships, I became really discouraged and frustrated since I had been lied to and tried to take advantage of. I was close to buying another Infiniti at an Infiniti dealership, but was not impressed with the pervious dealership and saleperson I had been dealing with. As much as I wanted the Infiniti, I was going to take my time to find a dealership that I could trust and get a great deal from. I had just been thinking about expanding my search to California when I found the perfect 2012 Infiniti G25x with very low miles on the Campbell Nelson Nissan dealership website. It was still out of my price range, but figured I would call and make an offer. The receptionist put me on the phone with Doc and I explained I knew exactly what I wanted and asked him what the best price he could give me for the car. I was very clear I wasn't going to go back and forth and haggle about the price. He called me back 5 minutes later and offered me a couple hundred dollars off the sales price. I was impressed with the lower price and no messing around. It was still a bit more than I could pay so I called back with my final offer. He wasn't going to be in the next day which was the only day that week I could come in so he transferred me to his sales associate Clint. I briefly repeated my offer to Clint and made plans to show up the next day to see the car. I was still a bit skeptical that I could get the car for that price after all my previous bad experiences with other places but showed up the next morning to check the car out. I was also a bit nervous because I am a young female buying my first car and didn't have anyone to come with me. I was late and when I got there, Clint had the car all ready for a test drive. The car was in pristine condition and I was ready to make the buy if he could accept my offer price. He right away starting getting the paperwork ready and assured me that he could sell it to me for my offer price. He emphasized that his job was to make sure I walked away happy and satisfied with the price and car. I was very impressed. He held true to his word. The finance person was very professional as well, wish I could remember his name. I will happily recommend Clint and this dealership to my friends and family. There were absolutely no games and made me realize that car shopping doesn't have to be a terrible experience. They even filled the gas tank up. Thank you Doc and Clint. I am beyond thrilled with my car and this dealership! More

Roy was the one that answered the phone and it was a pleasant NO PRESSURE conversation. So I decided it was worth the long drive up to you guys. I met Roy and he was great-professional yet kind, did not pressure us or put on the "fake friend" then cash shark when it was time to buy. Even my wife liked Roy, and she usually doesn't like salesman- that says something. I would recommend your dealership for two reasons: 1.Reasonable pricing 2. I saw the Lexus Sc430 one owner on craigslist which directed me to your dealer website. I spoke with Matty Clough and told him I was 275 miles south in Oregon and would be driving up in 3 days (Monday) directed me to your dealer website. I spoke with Matty Clough and told him I was 275 miles south in Oregon and would be driving up in 3 days (Monday) to see the car. Matty said no problem,he was off Monday but would be happy to come in on his day off which he did. The reason I've given your dealership less than high marks is that when we arrived we found the car which was advertised as black but turned out to be purple, buried in the pack, missing the owners manual, only one key, water in the trunk and the battery was dead. A note to Mr.Campbell/Nelson " if I had such a dealership as you, and my customer was driving half a day to look a car, I guarantee you that I would have that vehicle detailed to the nines fully functional and waiting inside looking like a new penny" we did purchase the car so I suppose you could say ' what's the big deal' and we spent a couple hundred dollars on e-bay the next day purchasing the key and manual so I guess you could say 'all's well that ends well' but the fact remains my impression of your dealership is less than impressive. sincerely Mike McComas More
The Campbell-Nelson Nissan Dealership gave me an excellent experience. They knew that I was pressed for time to buy a car, and out of all of the dealerships I inquired with, they were the first one excellent experience. They knew that I was pressed for time to buy a car, and out of all of the dealerships I inquired with, they were the first ones to call me back. On top of that, my salesman, Matthew “Matty” Clough, was very understandable in my needs and he bent over backwards to help me get everything I wanted. He accommodated me in every way possible – I have 3 young children and I requested to minimize my time in the dealership because of it. Therefore, he communicated with me via telephone and text messages (at my request) and called me into the dealership only when it was time for me to sign papers. This saved me a huge amount of time and inconvenience, and for that, I am very grateful. As stated earlier, I was pressed for time to get a car, as I needed it within 2 days, and he was able to find me the exact car I desired, in the color of my choice, and with all of the features I wanted within that time frame. He went out of his way to obtain that particular car, specifically because it was not on their lot. He sent a driver out pick it up for me on a Sunday morning! I could not have asked for a better salesman or dealership to work with than the team they have at Campbell-Nelson. I plan on highly recommending both Matty and this dealership to my friends and family because they not only work hard to please their customers, but they personalize each experience. Thank you again Matty for everything you’ve done for me; I am grateful beyond words can describe. More
Never have I had such a divergent sales experience as I had at Campbell Nelson Nissan on January 11, 2014. I was assisting my daughter in the purchase of a new car and we had been visiting different dealer had at Campbell Nelson Nissan on January 11, 2014. I was assisting my daughter in the purchase of a new car and we had been visiting different dealerships in the Lynnwood area. I ask my daughter if she wanted to go to Campbell Nelson since I related my positive impression with its sales department when I bought a Versa five years ago for her sister. She had driven her sister’s Versa and she said she would like to test drive the 2014 model. My experience with the sales staff five years ago at Campbell Nelson was exemplary, professional and warm. On Saturday when we walked through the door, we were met by Salesman, Baron Makanvand. Right from the onset, Mr. Makanvand behavior was simply bizarre. He did not ask us our names, neither did he offered us water, tea or coffee. We sat down and he asked us what model we were interested in and we informed him that we wanted to test drive a Versa Sedan. He immediately started pushing the Versa Note. My daughter informed him she was only interested in the Versa Sedan. He wanted to start negotiating for a price for the car. I showed him an ad from Nissan Eastside that showed a price of $11,000. I stated that is where I would like to start negotiating. I informed him that Campbell Nissan was closer to where I live and that I bought another Versa five years ago and I like the customer service. I came back to Campbell Nelson due to my first experience and a sense of customer loyalty. I finally asked if I could get a cup of coffee. He said sure and directed me to the service department whereupon I stood up and went to get a cup of coffee. I did not expect Mr. Makanvand to get coffee for me, but I did expect an offer of a cup of coffee. After I return, I said we would like to take a test drive. He continued to try to negotiate. My daughter again said she would first want to do a test drive to see if she like how the car handle. If she did not like the way the 2014 Versa Sedan handled, she planned to check out the Ford Focus and the Mazda 3. So we did not want to waste time negotiating if she did not like the car’s handling. Mr. Makanvand continued to press us to negotiate. He imparted that he wanted to get us the best deal but any deal would have to be approved by his manager. He further stated that his commission on each car is a fixed commission so there was no impetus for him to try to sell the car at an expensive price or a lower price. I guess he said this statement to provide the appearance that he was representing our interest and that he would get us the lowest rate possible. I thought this statement odd. First of all, I thought it disingenuous on his part to make such a statement and secondly, I was taken aback because it showed that he had no loyalty to Campbell Nelson, his employer. What I came away with such a statement was that he was interested only in his own expediency to line his pocket with a fixed commission. His loyalty was only to himself and made himself appear like the stereotypical Used Car salesman. He continued to press us to negotiate and my daughter once again and politely explained she wanted to test drive first before negotiating. He ignored my daughter again and kept asking what I was willing to pay for the car. At that point I insisted on a test drive. He then left the table and went to talk to his manager. I do not know at that time what he related to the office manager. Unbeknownst to the manager, I heard the manager say not to give us a test drive. Mr Makanvand returned and told us that he was not going to give a test drive. I asked why and he just motion to the front door to my daughter and me. I again asked why and informed him I was thinking paying cash for the car and he replied “That does not make any difference”. He then feigned receiving a call on his cell and again rolled his eyes to the front door summarily dismissing us. That is when I decided I had enough of this rude, self-important, egocentric sleazy buffoon. My daughter said, “Let’s just leave!” Instead of heading to the front door, I turned around and went to the Office Manager. I asked the manager why he told Mr. Makanvand not to give us a test drive. He related that Mr. Makanvand told him that we wanted to test drive the Versa Sedan at Campbell Nelson, but were going to buy the Versa at Eastside Nissan. I informed the office manager that was not the case that we wanted to see want Campbell Nelson would offer us after we did the test drive. I did tell him we were also considering Eastside Nissan, but since I had bought another Versa from Campbell Nissan, I wanted to give Campbell Nelson first shot at us. He apologized and said he would request Mr. Makanvand to let us test drive the Versa. At this point I had enough of Mr. Makanvand’s rudeness and mendacity. I told the Office Manager I wanted another salesman. The Office Manager had another salesman, Roy Vimal, to assist us. What a night and day difference in customer service when comparing Mr. Makanvand’s self-absorbed disparaging demeanor versus Mr. Vimal’s professional and business-like manner. Immediately Mr. Vimal asked us our names and asked us to sit down. After talking to us, he went to retrieve some brochures on the Versa Sedan to give us. He returned and asked if would like some water, tea or coffee. He made us feel welcomed and respected as customers. He then stated his approach to customer service was akin to inviting someone to his home for dinner. We explained to him that we wanted to test drive the Versa Sedan before negotiating and he said “No problem, let’s go for a test drive”. My daughter and I took the test drive with Mr. Vimal. He pointed out a number of features of the car to my daughter as she was driving. He encouraged us to take it onto I-5 to test the engine’s pick-up when merging onto the expressway. We returned to the dealership, sat down and began to negotiate a price. Throughout the entire negotiating he was respectful and cordial. I traded in a 2001 Hyundai Sonata and received a generous trade-in allowance and after negotiating I asked for another $500 reduction and I would buy the Versa Sedan. He spoke to his manager and we had a deal. The entire negotiation took only 20 minutes. Throughout the entire negotiation Mr. Vimal was the consummate professional and worked with us for a price that made some profit for Campbell Nelson and I was feeling good about the evenhanded deal. I felt the deal to be a reasonable price for the car. I have purchase approximately 10 new cars in my life and I have to admit the experience with Mr. Makanvand is ranked as the poorest example of customer service I have ever experienced. I would not buy a pack of gum from this guy. He is a true neophyte at customer service and basic civil and courteous behavior to a customer. I have written this review not to have him terminate, but more to ask Campbell Nelson to provide him some remedial training in customer service, so that he can better hone his skills as a salesman, and thus represent Campbell Nelson in a more favorable and professional manner. Mr. Vimal, on the other hand, is an amazing salesman, possessing true negotiating skill, a true concern to represent Campbell Nelson in a positive light. On those rare occasions you have the pleasure to meet with an individual whose work ethic, loyalty and commitment to the job renews your faith in outstanding car salesmen. I must admit I did have a certain degree of Schadenfreude, since Mr. Vimal was able to pocket the “fixed commission” for the sale and Mr. Makanvand was left with nothing. Mr. Vimal possesses two attributes that are rarely found in a car salesman. He comingles his superb public relations talents with a very pro-active “can-do” attitude with a firm grasp of negotiation techniques and an innate respect for the customer. Praise is in order for his commitment to exceptional customer service and for possessing that rare sense of accountability that few employees have today. So if you are looking for an outstanding salesman with a pleasant and cordial deportment, someone with the determination to see a job through, and someone who is always willing to make that extra effort for the customer, you need to look no further. His integrity and professionalism will do any customer, (and ultimately to Campbell Nissan’s reputation), a great service. So if you plan to purchase a car, please ask for Mr. Vimal. You will not be disappointed. Mike B More

He pointed in a general direction of his office, and we then had to ask another person where John's office was. He is the manager of internet / fleet sales and was incredibly helpful in answering our questions. He also gave us an incredible deal on a 36 month lease with 45,000 miles. He is the best sales manager I have experienced since working with Columbia Auto Group in southwest Washington. He actually made the experience fun and was very good at giving us the time needed as well as being efficient and allowing us to go to lunch and return with a decision. While there we met Bob Nelson, the original owner of the dealership. He was incredibly hospitable as well. I also liked the gift of a goat to Africa with the purchase. John more than made up for the initial sales person who may have been frustrated by "an internet sale." I highly recommend John and the dealership and will be sharing my satisfaction with others who ask about my new EV, Leaf. More
I had such an easy and stress free experience buying my new car from Baron and Cecil. I felt like Baron treated me like family. I was prepared for a stressful and difficult experience, just more based on m new car from Baron and Cecil. I felt like Baron treated me like family. I was prepared for a stressful and difficult experience, just more based on my own anxiety of having to buy a car when I was not ready to. My car had repairs that were just too much to pay for on a 10 year old car. Baron even negotiated a great trade in amount for something that basically was only good for parts (the good ones left anyway). They even worked with me on a down payment that I could afford. The finance guy, Cecil, was very personable and I didn't walk out of his office feeling like he tried to sell me on a bunch of stuff I didn't need. And that was one of the main things I heard from friends "they'll try to sell you stuff you don't really need just to get more money out of you." This was NOT what happened and I was so relieved. He took the time to understand "me" and only presented what he thought I needed. If all salespeople were like Baron, everyone would be buying cars left and right! He really made the whole experience comfortable and easy. As a single woman, I would 100% recommend him to any other women looking to buy a car. He was so friendly and sincere, and seemed to really care about getting me a great car for the right price. I honestly don't have one bad thing to say about Baron, Cecil and the rest of the employees at Campbell Nelson Nissan! To the owners, you have two amazing employees in Baron and Cecil. Thank you all for everything! I just love my new car!! To anyone reading this, I would recommend the Altima if you are looking for a reliable and good-looking car. Nissan really stepped up their game with the technology available. This will be my second Altima, and I hope this one lasts as long as my old one! More
I have to say, this was for sure the best car purchase experience I ever had. Simple, fun, no complications, honest, reliable, passionate for your work. These are some of the words I would use to describe experience I ever had. Simple, fun, no complications, honest, reliable, passionate for your work. These are some of the words I would use to describe the effort that John Kelch made to accommodate my request and sell me the car I wanted. I am not an easy customer for sure and I do so much research that I usually get to a sales conversation expecting the 'usual' talk. My meeting with John was very honest from the beginning and he made every effort to be on my side during the sales. He was running up and down talking to the trade manager (I was doing a trade-in ), talking to the finance manager trying to achieve the value I was expecting, talking to another manager to get the car... and I was there sitting in his office and he would come cheeks red and saying... look... we are almost there... we will get that car. Then you see something different... the use of the word "we" like we were together buying the car, and I really did his best until the moment we shook hands and the deal was done. I was there while my best friend was buying a car for his wife and John managed to perform flawless both deals accommodating all our needs (we are a pain in terms of negotiation, I tell you :) ). He scored both sales and I believe later this week when my friend gets his car he will write a review as well. We had several conversations about money and as I was explaining my reasons for my preferences he also used another sentence that you don't hear very often... "- Ok, I understand, this is a fair point, let me work on it!" This is very cool. My new Altima 2014 has everything I need and some more and I will probably need another degree to fully understand all features of this awesome vehicle. Thank you so much John as I told you, you got your stars...sorry I know... I made you word hard for it, but it was funny to see that you looked like happier than I was when I got the car!! This is cool Sir!! Well done! and I wish you all the best! You guys are at Campbell Nelson Nissan are lucky to have somebody like John Kelch in you team! More
