It’s unbelievable that they would charge me 135.00 for a supposedly loose radiator overflow tank cap. They were blaming another Ford dealer who changed the oil for the loose cap. Another dealership in Three Oaks Michigan had to put on New water pump. This was because when I called Campbell Ford to tell them I had a leak this was back in early December, Campbell Ford could not even look into the leak until February of this year. The person I talked to told me and I quote “I guess you better keep an eye on your fluids “. With service like that I won’t be telling anyone I know I my to go to Campbell Ford anytime soon. I realize the country is still trying to get past Covid or learn how to deal with things. Plus the service person I spoke with treated me like I was not important. Thankfully it was over the phone so I didn’t have to see this, in my opinion, a rude person face to face. I really couldn’t believe that they felt like I had to deal with the leak on my own unit they could get around to looking at it. That’s why I ended up at Three Oaks Ford. At least they got my truck scheduled in within a week. I was always under the impression any Ford dealer would take care of a warranty problem no matter which Ford dealer you purchased it from. Campbell Ford has certainly soured my opinion of them. That’s too bad because I live in Niles Michigan. I still have more warranty work that Campbell Ford needs to take care of but can’t get the parts. I’m fairly certain that I’ll pay for my honesty in the long run if and when the parts come in to fix the truck. In closing I was the last person to tighten the cap they said was 3/4 of a turn loose because I had to add a gallon of radiator coolant. So the gallon that leaked out was caused by Three Oaks Ford because they were the last ones to tighten the cap after they put on a new water pump. So I guess Ford motor company owes me 135.00. More
