Daniel Sanchez, the sales person, introduced himself shortly after I arrived. He showed me several vehicles and was very knowledgeable about each vehicle. This is a great place for my truck needs. My only complaint is that the technicians could be more welcoming. I was looking for a part and it seemed like they just kept throwing me from person My only complaint is that the technicians could be more welcoming. I was looking for a part and it seemed like they just kept throwing me from person to person. Finally, Cammeron helped me once I asked him. Cammeron is outstanding! He addressed all my concerns and always had such an outgoing and welcoming personality. He was like a friend instantly. Highly recommend working with him and I would go back to have him schedule me again More
We love Jose T. He is honest and does not try to upsell what is needed. He is honest and does not try to upsell what is needed. More
All in all, poor. They gave me a laundry list of items, including tires and brakes and spark plugs that totaled $6500. Long story short, After two tow trips to Camelback Toyota, I took it to AAA mechanic shop in Mesa (half off the diagnostic fee of $150 and 10% discount on work based on being a AAA member) and they told me it was some thing completely unrelated to what Camelback said. After a diagnostic, AAA said replace purge valve and $380 later I was out the door and my car has run perfectly for over a week now Brandon, “the beard man” was my service advisor at Camelback and he was awful. Very flat affect and just a matter of fact and very slow on getting back to me. The second time I took it there he wanted me to pay $500 to further diagnose it and said basically I had to have skin in the game so that I was in, like all in. So I only dealt with the service department manager named Jimmy, who is easy to relate with and respectful. He was very good at explaining several things and stated that this was a good opportunity for coaching that service tech, Brandon. Overall, if you have to go to a dealer because you have a hybrid vehicle and can’t find a good mechanic that works on those, I would not recommend Camelback Toyota based on the totally incompetent and incorrect diagnostics (of $6,500) and my poor service tech Brandon. AAA was a very positive experience and saved me thousands of dollars going down a rabbit hole that was not even mentioned by Camelback Toyota after a diagnostic. They offered a 50% discount off of the $150 diagnostic and a 10% discount on all work completed. They replaced the purge valve then a couple days later replaced the front brakes for $260. Very happy with their service and my tech, Tanner, was great. Now I finally understand all the typos and grammatical errors in these reviews because you can barely see it on your phone. I hope this helps you to make a better informed decision. More
