Brought it in for a check engine light, inspection report claims battery was “green” as in good, they swindled me in to paying 600$ for a MAS engine sensor that may have needed to be replaced eventually but claims battery was “green” as in good, they swindled me in to paying 600$ for a MAS engine sensor that may have needed to be replaced eventually but was NOT the reason for check engine light. They start the car and being it out when service is done so the next time i started the car 12 hrs later, it was slow to turn over, the next day it would not start. It was the battery all along, a $184 fix for a nee battery thru AAA. This is not the first time I have been schemed at this dealer. I had emailed the service guy the day after service was done and he said “maybe a weak battery” REALLY bc your technician said my battery was good! Thankfully I live in a city with multiple Toyotas and do not have to return to Camelback Toyota. Lots of friends have same experience there. More
