I purchased my second car, a 2011 4Runner, in Phoenix a few months right after moving from Los Angeles. Saying that Joshua was friendly and accomodating would be an understatement. He listens and treats his customer with respect. He is very approachable, enthusiastic in answering any questions that I came up with regards to my vehicle of choice, and is upfront and honest with the costs. A key factor that made me really want to purchase is that Joshua and Edwin are both interested in helping me out with my purchase by reaching a common ground and finding a financial solution that I can work with. Joshua knows his material, is highly skilled in his line of work, and shows ownership to Camelback Toyota. I commend him for his services and would highly recommend his services to anybody. I see myself making my next purchase at this dealership. More
On a quest to find a used car, my husband and I visited Camelback Toyota. It took a while, but they found a car we might like that was in our price range. We informed the salesperson and manager that we were not comfortable making a decision at that point, but we would be willing to consider it over our meal. We agreed to call them back once we were finished eating. During our 60-minute meal, we received two phone calls from the dealership asking if we had made a decision. This was frustrating, as we had already planned to call back by the agreed-upon time. After doing some research on the Kelley Blue Book website, we discovered that the car was priced significantly above what it should be, even though they were allegedly giving us "a deal". I called back and said we weren't interested. The manager proceeded to argue with me regarding our decision not to move forward, and I had to become firm and say we did not want the car. The next day, my husband received a voicemail from Toyota Camelback confirming his appointment at 11am to pick up the car. We had not made this appointment nor ever had discussed anything similar, so we did not respond. After that, he continued to receive a phone call nearly every day from that same phone number, not leaving a voicemail and hanging up when he answered. He finally contacted a manager there to request that he and his phone number be removed from all call lists, but the manager was defensive and tried to justify the calls. Still, my husband was ensured that the phone calls would cease. However, within 20 minutes of that conversation, my husband received yet another call from the dealership's number! We have since left a voicemail stating that this has gotten to the point of harassment. Not only are we not interested in purchasing that first car, but the way we were treated by the various employees at the dealership since has turned us away from purchasing any cars from Toyota Camelback in the future. I wanted to recognize both Mitch Poellinger and Joe Johnson. Both my father and I have recently purchased our new FJ's from this dealership with the help of both Mitch and Joe. I came in after my dad told me his purchase experience was the best he ever had. Strange how we were both in the market for the same car at the same time but I guess strange things happen. Anyway, he strongly recommended that I speak with Mitch, even if I were going to make my purchase somewhere else. He has averaged a new car almost every three to four years for the last 30 and his recommendation was all I needed to hear. So I gave Mitch a call and told him what I was looking for. There wasn't an FJ on the lot which met my needs at the time so Mitch needed to do some research to find me specifically what I was looking for. A few minutes later Mitch called me back saying he found the vehicle at another lot and was going to bring it in so I could take a look in the morning. To my surprise, Mitch not only found the vehicle I was looking for, but the vehicle mileage was way lower than I could have hoped for. The FJ was perfect and so was the deal. Mitch Poellinger and Joe Johnson are two honest hard working individuals who listened to and met my needs. As a sales guy myself, like my father, I appreciate dealing with individuals who listen, are courteous, and are different from the norm. I am sure the rest of the sales department and staff follow suit. My father and I are two very happy people and we both recommend this dealership. More
These guys are pretty sleazy. After bartering back and forth for a bit, they return with an offer which was 50% more than what we agreed upon. They leave again, and return with the exact SAME offer but s forth for a bit, they return with an offer which was 50% more than what we agreed upon. They leave again, and return with the exact SAME offer but stretched over 7 years instead of 5 (must have thought I was using that calculator for something else???). Then the usual attempts at upsales by the financing guy...and finally a week later they call and say they want more money because of the bank. Did I say SLEAZY? A deal is a deal, but not at Camelback Toyota! More

This was the second time I bought a vehicle from camelback toyota. The first time was not so good. The second time was much better customer service. The price of the car beat the competitors. I was dealing with one other dealership and Camelback Toyota was superior to them. Bobby Head took over for Lisa and he went above and beyond and assisted me in purchasing my 2010 4Runner. When I arrived in Phoenix from Tucson, Bobby offered to pick me up at the airport and was so accommodating. Everything turned out perfect for me because of Lisa and Bobby. I consider them "friends" of the utmost character and knowledge. Camelback Toyota will be my choice of dealership from now on and will be recommended highly by me....with an emphasis on Lisa Garcia and Bobby Head. Lisa Garcia initially responded to our email request for information regarding a new 4Runner. No pressure, and we went in the following week to look at the vehicles they had in stock. Lisa guided us to a shiny new salsa red 4Runner, with lots of extras, at a price lower other 4Runners with less options! We worked out a very good price including our trade-in, and we were quite heppy with the deal! Lisa was very helpful and friendly, as were the other people working at the dealership. She showed us around the facility where we could bring the vehicle for future service work, and even went so far as helping us find a cargo cover on a sale price on the dealer's website! Very pleased with our overall experience and wouldn't hesitate to come back to this dealer in the future! More
