This was the second time I bought a vehicle from camelback toyota. The first time was not so good. The second time was much better customer service. The price of the car beat the competitors. I checked online to purchase a 2010-2011 Toyota 4Runner. I was contacted by a very friendly and knowledgeable associate, Lisa Garcia. She worked diligently on my behalf. I was dealing with one other dealership and Camelback Toyota was superior to them. Bobby Head took over for Lisa and he went above and beyond and assisted me in purchasing my 2010 4Runner. When I arrived in Phoenix from Tucson, Bobby offered to pick me up at the airport and was so accommodating. Everything turned out perfect for me because of Lisa and Bobby. I consider them "friends" of the utmost character and knowledge. Camelback Toyota will be my choice of dealership from now on and will be recommended highly by me....with an emphasis on Lisa Garcia and Bobby Head. Lisa Garcia initially responded to our email request for information regarding a new 4Runner. No pressure, and we went in the following week to look at the vehicles they had in stock. Lisa guided us to a shiny new salsa red 4Runner, with lots of extras, at a price lower other 4Runners with less options! We worked out a very good price including our trade-in, and we were quite heppy with the deal! Lisa was very helpful and friendly, as were the other people working at the dealership. She showed us around the facility where we could bring the vehicle for future service work, and even went so far as helping us find a cargo cover on a sale price on the dealer's website! Very pleased with our overall experience and wouldn't hesitate to come back to this dealer in the future! More
After my husband took my Toyota Avalon into the dealership for an oil change, he told me he had spoken with Mrs. Miller about the 2011 Avalons and that I was to go look at the new cars the next day dealership for an oil change, he told me he had spoken with Mrs. Miller about the 2011 Avalons and that I was to go look at the new cars the next day. Since I had had no problems with my present Avalon, car shopping was not a priority. Mrs. Miller was great pointing out all the new features on the cars and made my time at the dealership pleasant. I did not want to feel pressured. I also met Mr. Davidson who was also receptive to me not wanting a hard sell. Because of the easy-going nature of my time at the dealership and working with Mrs. Miller, I did end up buying a new 2011 Avalon which I am very happy with. i also expect Camelback Toyota Service dept. to continue their good service too. Klaus went above and beyond on many occasions! Besides being honest, down-to-earth and a very enjoyable guy, he made sure we found the right car at the right prices. He also kept us well hydrated and even spent all day at the dealership on his day off. He was actually our salesman twice. Once, our financing was denied after a couple of weeks of driving our new car. After continuing our car shopping saga for another month we actually came back and he was still very willing to help us, even though it had fallen through the previous time. Jesse was our finance guy (though we did work with a few others) and he was really great about working with our specific situation. As it ended up, they were able to get us a really good deal on a great car while still completely maintaning their integrity. I am very pleased with what I have seen at Camelback Toyota. The only thing I regret is the first time; not knowing if we were approved before driving off with that first car. But the second time around they made sure we were approved before giving us the keys. I definitely recommend them! Especially Klaus! More

I wanted a newer reliable vehicle with a good warranty. Samba was being trained by Boo who took over when we got inside. We were talking about the price as we didn't want to pay the ridiculously over inflated price on the sticker and wanted a reasonable monthly payment. We were ready to purchase the 2009 when Boo said that they had a 2007 they just got in and it would be less expensive than the 2009. I was worried about the warranty since a 2007 is older than what I was looking for and we had agreed on a price for the 2009. Boo explained how the warranty on the 2009 (with about 12,000 miles on it) was not as good as the warranty on the 2007. She told us that the warranty is extended by Toyota as part of their certification program so that it is the same as a warranty on a new car. So we would be getting a 2007 at a slightly lower price with a very good warranty. Well, this was a big lie. My check engine light went on today and I had to pay $421 to replace a flow valve. When I got upset - and I didn't raise my voice or anything like that, I calmly told the service man that I had been lied to and it looked like they just didn't care. After I told him about how I was lied to instead of responding to what I had said he told me about the warranty information. When I let him know that I could tell he didn't care he went on the offensive - like I'd hurt his feelings and asked me why I thought he didn't care so I explained that he offered no solution only referred back to the warranty information. He then exclaimed how I hadn't even given him the chance to let me talk to customer service, when that was not anything he had said up to that point. He had offered no solution up until he went on the offensive. When I was leaving I could hear the men talking about me and laughing. It's incredibly shocking and upsetting to be treated so badly and with so much disrespect by a business who I am patronizing. I really just wanted to cry. More
