Cutting to the issue, I believe the deal was fair both on the price of the vehicle and on the trade in. The car runs great, but I had 2 issues that contradicted what sales told me. First, the salesman told me the oil had been recently changed. In fact, the oil sticker indicated it was about 3 months earlier, and half way thru the cycle. Not a big issue, but not what I was told. Todd Hayes, the service director, was quick to apologize and offer a free oil change when it comes up. Secondly, I had a bad battery 3 weeks after the sale. Todd again was great to deal with, and reimbursed the cost of the battery under the 30 day warranty. I'm very happy overall, but couldn't give 5 stars due to misinformation. I explained what type of car i was looking for and the first one he showed me was all i could have hoped for, and for an amazing price. The finance team that i worked with was extremely helpful in explaining everything that i needed to know, and how to move forward after making the purchase. After all was said and done i knew driving away that my next vehicle purchase will be made at this dealership and I will be suggesting it to everyone i hear that is looking to purchase a car. More

Not only do they repair your vehicle efficiently but they are very pleasant and wash your vehicle before you leave. I like my Subaru a lot. However, the gas mileage is disappointing. When I finally, after 3 days, was able to connect with one of the managers, (Robert Cooper), he told me the car was sold to someone else. I followed up with emails to the company owner (Joe Esposito), Manger (Gema Perry), Manger (Andrew Dalrynple), Salesman ( Jesse Hernandez), Sales manager ( Robert Cooper). No one has responded to me. Disorganized Beyond Belief! This Subaru dealer is just unbelievably disorganized. We called and were told they had 4 used Foresters in stock. We arrived 30 minutes later, and our salesman could only find one, which was in pretty bad condition. We went across the street to the Hyundai dealer, and during a break between test drives I checked Autotrader.com and saw a Forester listed that met our needs, and it was listed at Camelback Subaru (where we had just been). I sent an inquiry and almost instantly received a call from the internet sales manager, who confirmed that the car was in stock, and that "he was looking at 4 used Foresters right now". We finished up at Hyundai and went right back to Camelback Subaru. You guessed it, nobody could find the 4 used Foresters, and the car we had called about had been sold "first thing this morning". We ended up buying a Honda. More

His response maybe I did maybe I didn't but you can't prove it. Sorry buddy but I did prove it to subaru. They ended up paying for your mistakes. The same one i was trying to explain to you when you walked away from me in middle of conversation. Manager please. Berkshire Hathaway group needs to step in and see your bad for business. Go to peoria subaru or Chandler superstore they are way nicer and treat people way better. Trust me I've been to all three this one is the worst. I've never seen this kinda shady service at any dealer. And I currently use 3 different car dealers to maintain my cars. This dealer sucks. More

They paid for lunch, but I don't get paid to sit at a car dealership cooling my heels. When I asked them to match the Internet deal, they gave me a song and dance and then had me sign an agreement to purchase at the advertised price. I left the dealership with the car, assuming we had a genuine deal. Until the finance person called me back two days later because the deal fell through. Suddenly a zero down deal meant a down payment. After speaking with a couple of people, I was assured it would be worked out, and someone would call me back. I went about my business. A few days later, they are wondering why I never brought the car back to make a new arrangement. I brought it back, all right, and took my old car back. Yo-yo finance, or spot delivery, is typical of unsavory dealers. The FTC has already filed lawsuits against several California dealers for such questionable practices. What surprises me is the Camelback VW and other former Van Tuyl dealerships are now owned by Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway, as part of an $8 billion deal. I expected better of Buffet, or maybe they just don't care. More
