Wonderful used car buying experience I want to start out with, I hate the stress of buying cars. After looking across the Country for a 2015 Passat TDI in Titanium Beige with beige inter I want to start out with, I hate the stress of buying cars. After looking across the Country for a 2015 Passat TDI in Titanium Beige with beige interior and finding only 6 or 7 available, I flew from East Tennessee to Phoenix to purchase the car. I made the purchase through USAA car buying service. I contacted Jermel Parson, Sales Rep. He was so helpful. We made arrangements on line and on the phone. He picked me up at the airport. Jermel is professional, patient, friendly, and helpful. I would deal with him again. I drove 1850 miles home over the next 2 days. The car was like a new car. Of course, it only had 22,000 miles on it. That is the main reason we travelled to Camelback VW to buy the car. It had the lowest miles we could find a that time, at the best price. The vehicle was as described. My car wash guy remarked it looked like a brand new car. More importantly, my wife loves it. Whew! Jarvis Newman, Business Manager, completed the deal and very patiently, guided me through the process. Jarvis was professional, courteous, and friendly. He took the time to go over every part of the transaction and answer all of my questions. I'd been traveling since almost midnight and I was more than a little worn out. That's when I get a little goofy and my senseless humor rears up. Jarvis suffered through in good humor and we completed the deal. I feel Jarvis went beyond the average requirements and really took care to help us come to a mutually beneficial transaction. This was one of the best major purchase encounters I have experienced. Car was not even ready for us to view even though we called ahead and told them we were on our way. And now I keep receiving phone calls even though I wrote the GM and explained to him my experience, he/she never replied back. I also made it clear that I did not want to do business with them anymore. Now keep in mind this is based on the my initial visit. I do not like to be ignored when I speak to the salesman. I have purchased 2 new vehicles within 3 years and not from Subaru. My point is I was (yes was) a serious buyer at the time of my visit and if the salesman lacked the ability to read that in me then he needs to learn more. I came in well informed and listened but when I spoke out about what the true facts were about the car I was brushed off and the attention directed toward my sibling. There is more to this story than what I am writing but this is sufficient to inform future buyers to become well informed before dealing with inexperienced salesman. More
Helpful and friendly service We came to here because our previous Subaru broke down and this was the closest dealership. We were very upset and refused to drive another Subaru. The service department placed us in a loaner vehicle and got us on the road immediately so we could make it to our event on time. We ended up enjoying the vehicle and a week later when we returned our loaner talked to Karl S. about purchasing a new Crosstrek. Karl & the management team was very friendly and helpful and helped make a negative experience turn into a positive one. More
