Go Elsewhere and Don't Get Ripped-Off Like I Did This shop is extremely dishonest. They sell crashed cars that have been poorly covered up and they are not a BMW authorized repair or sales shop becau This shop is extremely dishonest. They sell crashed cars that have been poorly covered up and they are not a BMW authorized repair or sales shop because they do not have the required equipment or training. In fact BMW Financial Services told me that they will not even sell Lease Return vehicles to California Beemers because they have received so many complaints. California Beemers is INFAMOUS with all the good dealers and repair facilities in the area that have to clean up their problems. Yes, their cars look good but that is because BMW makes great cars. California Beemers is making money by buying cars that other dealers will not accept due to condition problems and they assume you will not be able to notice until after the sale. Tell them that you want a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) by your own expert and ask to see the "Condition Report" and photos of the damage from the Auction where they bought the car... and watch them roll out the excuses. They will probably tell you to leave. They want uninformed customers who are easy to fool and in a hurry. People who rate this dealer highly just have not found the problems yet, or they are embarrassed to admit that they got screwed, or correcting the problem is not worth the effort. I met several other people who bought from them and they got ripped off too in the exact same way. They sold me a damaged car, I found out, they tried to fix it several times and caused more damaged each time they touched it. It is a long story that involves hidden collision damage, lies about conditions, dents, poor paint, over-spray, broken parts, damaged seats, shorted electronics, broken door and seat parts, a hidden non-factory remote engine kill device (don't allow one of these, it will void your warranty), lots of phone calls and e-mails and 5 trips to Small Claims and Superior Court plus preparing for court that all waste a lot of your valuable time. They tried every trick they could think of to avoid responsibility and they appealed every Court decision and they lost every time. I have a stack of Court orders and a couple of BAR violation reports, but they still will not pay. Even when they are proven to be at fault and ordered to make it right they do not step up. I will get a court order to take some of their cars and have a Sheriff's sale to get my money back. Meanwhile, they are screwing new customers every day. Don't be one of them. By the way, the BAR does not make violations public, so checking their history on-line does not show the violations. Also, CarFax reports only show damage that is reported as Insurance Claims, so California Beemers is careful to buy cars with damage that has not been reported. I went to court to protect other people like you. This is a Criminal Racketeering enterprise. If you can find a similar car that you like for a few thousand dollars more somewhere else, it will be worth paying more to avoid this scam. I would never buy anything from this dealer or allow their Beemers Shop (same owner, same property, different name to avoid responsibility) to perform any repairs and I beg everyone I meet not to either.
