Here was my experience: I wanted to buy a Tesla Model 3. I test drove two of them and selected the one I liked. I asked simple questions about features. The answer was always, "Uh. I don't know". The sales staff knew nothing. Maybe to update the autopilot is 1k maybe 6k? Who knows? Next, oh you want to buy the car? “Yes, right this way. Sit here with me while I take 30 minutes to gather your information. Then I will leave. Then I will come back to tell you to wait here in the corner for my manager. You are “next in line.” While my wife and I continued to wait, all of the employees decide to hang out in the area for customer’s laughing and eating the complimentary food. Now another 30 minutes have past. We are finally led to the manager’s office. “Will you be financing?” No. We already told the first person an hour ago we were paying cash. But that changed the entire attitude of the manager. “Will you be keeping the wheels that are on the car?” Beware: They put “premium” wheels on the car and then charge you for them in addition to the sticker price. We caught this scam two hours earlier though and told our salesperson we would not be purchasing the wheels and to put the stock wheels back on. When we told the manager no, we would not be purchasing the premium wheels, he stopped, looked at us and said, “No? Oh, well unfortunately I don’t have anyone who can switch the wheels.” Excuse me? So what are my options? “Well, I guess you’ll have to come back another day to get the car.” I live 90 minutes away. The manager laughed and said “So come back Monday.” Next up – the “contract.” When the manager told me the total, it seemed high. I asked to see the numbers. And that’s when I saw it. A $1900 fee for a “ceramic coating.” If you aren’t familiar with this scam, just google it. There are shady car lots that are pulling this nonsense all over the place. They claim to have put a ceramic coating on the car to protect the paint. It is not optional. You have to pay for it. When I questioned it, the manager became agitated and stated, “Dealers always have fees. This is our fee.” At this point, I was done. I walked out. No apology, no attempt to make it right. Summary: Don’t give this place your business. You work too hard for your money to waste it here. More

Salesperson Justin was good, Rich, the manager who wrote up the contract, after I purchased the Tesler wont take my phone call. This is not professional and unacceptable. My wife and I have owned 8 Lexus cars over 20 years and now I know why Lexus service is top notch and why we stayed with them so long. Lexus would never put themselves in that situation to put tires that have 3/32 life left on them on a $40,000 dollar purchase. This was my first experience with Cars.com and Tesla and it was not a good one for this dealership. Again, I ask who can help me resolve this issue? More
