We initially visited Douglasville Kia to look at new vehicles. I never thought we would drive away in a brand new Kia Optima that day. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot to the second we left, we had nothing but the greatest customer service and a team of people that were willing to do whatever it took to make sure we were completely satisfied. I have purchased many new vehicles in my life time,but I have never had an experience like this before. The very next day we actually took my father to the dealership and he also purchased a vehicle from James "REAL" McCoy. These guys are "GREAT"! My family and I would like to THANK everyone at Douglasville Kia for making our purchase a wonderful experience and we will recommend Douglasville Kia to anyone and everyone. I purchased a 2011 Toyota Camry 7/2012 from Douglasville I purchased a 2011 Toyota Camry 7/2012 from Douglasville KIA. I was not provided the original key as a result of being unable to unlock my trunk. I I purchased a 2011 Toyota Camry 7/2012 from Douglasville KIA. I was not provided the original key as a result of being unable to unlock my trunk. I was informed by another Toyota dealership in Douglasville that this was not the original key to the car and that the original is a keyless entry keypad. The key cost was $250, not including the $50 to program, and if they have to send out it would be more. I called the Kia Manager and was told that it would be handled. No call back from him after 1 week. Called Gen Manager and he made me an appt to have key made. I did not receive what I was promised and what was rightfully mine as the owner, which is the original keyless entry keypad that came with the Camry. I received 2 keys made by a locksmith that was called in. Second, upon receiving the key I informed service agent that my steering wheel vibrates. He didn’t put it on serv ticket as my car was return I asked the repairman about it and he said that he wasn't aware of the request. He did however check it out for me. I was told I need wheel balance and it would be no charged because I had just purchased the vehicle. The next week I was told I needed left and right rotors and pads. Cost $550 for Toyota parts or $335 for auto zone parts. This is unacceptable for only having the car a month. This vehicle was sold without the proper maintenance being performed and passed on to the customer. I was told that they would split the repair cost when this should have been the dealerships responsibility. I should be given the original keyless keypad key when I purchased the vehicle; instead I was given a valet key that didn’t provide access to the trunk. If Douglasville Kia did not have it then it’s their responsibility . It should not be the buyers responsibility. Brakes and rotors should be repaired before selling any vehicle. Who wants to buy a new vehicle to have to pay for rotors and brake pads the next month? Good customer svc is not when a customer purchase but the service received after the purchase. Who wouldnt be nice when they want you to buy? More
Came in to trade in my SUV. Heard a ton about the Kia's and how great they were on the gas mileage. They got me into a great car even with the negative equity I had, my payment went up only $100 which inc and how great they were on the gas mileage. Had a great experience at the dealer ship Mike Bryant was very nice took his time at explaning everything to me there was no pressure. He showed me about the car, under the hood he explained the saftey very nice took his time at explaning everything to me there was no pressure. The sales process was easy. The sales personnel and finance people were very pofessional.Aftr leaving we discoverd we had no keyfob for opening the doors. Mike was a great salesperson. He knew his product and didn't pressure me to buy. I went to another dealership and was very disappointed. Douglasville Kia called me a week later telling us that they found didn't pressure me to buy. I went to another dealership and was very disappointed. Douglasville Kia called me a week later telling us that they found me a better rate on my loan and saved me even more money. I will definitely return when it is time to by another car and I would recommend this dealership to anyone. They really did an amazing job. More
Ed Jenkins was a great sales person. I really felt like he was looking out for me. The only reason I didn't give a great for overall experience is because of how long it took with the finance dept to get he was looking out for me.
