Was told air was not working because a stone had went through the grill and hit the condenser. Seriously! The service department said it was not covered under warranty, go figure. She then said oh go call your insurance company, it may be covered. I talked with the service manager, he said we see this often. I was like if you see it often, why run a diagnostic on it. Why not look for the supposed hole, and take me for the 125.00 fee. Needless to say the service manager was rude. It's all about making a quick $ for them. I called on the way to make sure they still had the vehicle and the was the price on the website correct. I was told yes on both. Once I got there, I was greeted by a salesman Steve Halley.. Great guy.. After we decided to work up a deal, I was confronted by a "closer" tall bald guy and the vehicle price was not what was on the internet. It also included fees for floor mats, upholstery protection, safety lock tire nut, and nitrogen for the tires. After I told him what the price was and I called to verify, he proceeded to tell me the price on the paper is the price, not the internet price. I was told the price on the on the internet included discounts/promotions "college grad, military, cash back" that I only had one of them. I pulled up there website and showed them that it does not disclose any of that information nor the optional fees. I was told he didn't care that the price on the paper was the correct price which was 2600 higher. As for my trade, they were giving me 2500 less than what THEIR website trade in value. When I questioned that, I was told they don't use that, they use a dealer program. At this point I was furious and I got up and walked out. Five minutes later, they were calling to come back and talk to the General Manager. When I got back, they waived the addt fees, increased my trade in but then tried to charge me for twice with the ridiculous dealer/doc prep fee of $799.00. Once again, I had to pull up their web site to show them the price on the internet states in the FINE PRINT, it INCLUDES dealer fees. So he deducted that from the vehicle purchase price. He handed me the buyers agreement and said here is your out the door price. I said great, lets do it.. Only to be told that on that buyers guide it showed to the left, your payment, interest rate, term, and PUTTING $2,000 down, in which I had no idea or was even told. I wanted the car and drove 3 hours because I could not find another one with all the bells and whistles I wanted, so I met them in the middle with putting $1,000 down But I can assure you, I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN. These kinds of practices is what gives car dealerships a bad name. I am well educated and have some knowledge in the finance business. I was able to see the deception and not take part in it.. I can only imaging how many people they have done this to and them not know it.. SHAME ON YOU for these types of practices.. More

Then I was told my paperwork wasn't sent out in time and my deal needed to be redone. So I went back only to be insulted by finance telling me it was basically my fault, that HE didn't get my paperwork out in time. After dealing with this for almost 2 months I do not have my car and I keep getting the run around about getting my down payment back. Save yourself go somewhere else, anywhere else would be better. Please do not get used like I did. I didn't know better and they saw me coming and took full advantage. That was my mistake, never again. More

The worker was very eager to get a sale so he convinced me to get a car for 618 a month the next day I called to discuss with them the issue and how I was pressured to get this car because they told me I couldn't go anywhere else or do better with my credit score. Now they told me that i am stuck with this super high car payment.....i fell for this trap...never again More
Horrible experience Do not shop at this Kia dealership! I got a new transmission from them and less than a year but with 13,000 miles, I was told I had 2 bad sensors and I could pay only 2000 for a new transmission. Then to top it off he had a salesman call me about an hour later. Really, just 2000. Will I need to pay that every year? Do you think I would buy it from here? By the way I drive A 2012 Kia Optima with 71,000 miles on it. Shame on you Thorton Rd. Kia! More
Old style runaround. Saw a Kia advertised on their website. Called to confirm it was still in stock and it was, so I drove there immediately. A very nice salesperson showed me the car, then when I decided to buy, his "manager" got involved. Turns out the advertised price was only good if you were eligible for the military discount AND the student discount. How's that for logic? A student in the military. Then they showed me the 2000 dollar price tag for the added crap: fabric protector, wheel locks, and, get this, over 100 dollars for nitrogen in the tires. I decided to walk, they told me to wait - just the classic car dealership bulls*t. Finally told them what I was willing to pay, they said okay, and I proceeded to wait for an hour and half before they called me in to sign paperwork. I'll never set foot in this place again. Just a horrible experience. I'd rather get a root canal. More

When i told (david) i was recording every thing he was saying he hung up on me not once but twice. When i finally got another person on the phone(anthony) i was told we are no longer refusing your warranty we are going to let corporate make a decision. Now all these (decisions) have been made before my car was torn down to even fairly see what is wrong with the car. This dealership in my opionion is crooked and will cheat you any way they can please be carefull.I will not stop telling the people the truth about this company untill they fix my car. I still have not heard back from them period anything i want to know i have to contact them for everthing. In my opinion do not buy from these crooks. More

I shopped the dealer internet inventory and found a "manager's special" that I felt was what I was looking for. I called and confirmed the sales price and was told that since the car had been there for some time they were offering another $300.00 off the internet price. After a test drive when we got around to determining the sales price the internet price had increased by over $600.00. I carefully wrote down all the numbers and promises made during the back and forth process. When we were unable to come to terms I left. Talking with the salesperson today he said the sales manager wanted to get the "deal" done and he knew we could come to terms. I returned to the dealership and was presented numbers that were higher than those I received when I was there previously. Not only did the sales price increase the value of my trade decreased dramatically. When I showed the sales manger the numbers I had written down during the process and promises that had been made a fog somehow clouded the memory of the individual who had given me the numbers I was relying on. BEWARE!!! More

He told me about the models I was interested in and when I decided on a vehicle in their used lot he helped just as if it were a new car. My next purchase will be a truck which Kia, unfortunately, does not offer. However, I will be going to Norris to see if purchasing the vehicle through him would be possible and worth his time. How many people would go to a Kia salesman to buy another manufacturer's vehicle? More
