In 2013 I traded my then 12 year 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a 2005 BMW X5. After 2 years I wanted to try out the 2013 Ford Fusion. After 10 months, I missed my 99 Jeep that I went to Stateline CDJR and fell in love with the 2016 Jeep Cheerokee Ltd. The staff were are straight forward and friendly. I am very happy with my selection and will never stray from Jeep Family again!! I would have given the customer service a higher rating but they were down one finance personnel and therefore, my transaction took longer than expected. More

They worked hard with multiple options, cars, etc to get my payment where I needed it to be. When I finally told them I just couldn't do a Jeep payment we opened it up to other cars on the lot. They were never pushy or unwilling to run numbers or look at various options. I worked with Levonshe and a couple managers while I was there. Everyone was a consummate professional and beyond helpful. Their F&I guy was fantastic, and worked hard to get my payment where I needed it while still keeping my rates and term reasonable. The best experience I've had at a dealership buying a car. Overall the best experience I've had at a car dealership. Will definitely be going back. More
They sell fake warranties...yes it's possible We purchased a 2005 Ford F-150 from a reputable dealership in south Kansas city MO on March 14,2016. This dealership also offered a Edmund's warranty We purchased a 2005 Ford F-150 from a reputable dealership in south Kansas city MO on March 14,2016. This dealership also offered a Edmund's warranty powered by car check serviced through Royal Administration. I read over the contract, and called Royal Administration to ask them exactly what was covered and what was not covered. I was told that all internal lubricated parts of the Engine otherwise known as the power train which has always been known as the Engine, Transmission, and the drivetrain which includes things like the differential. They also informed me of everything that was not covered which included things like the body panels, lights, mirrors, brakes, tires, things that are considered wear items. Which is completely understandable I checked out all of those things before I purchased the vehicle and with my background of work and school these things were also understood. Anyway, we purchased this vehicle and I started noticing that the engine started to tick and we found out that we needed a new engine as the timing chain adjustors started to go bad according to Jeep. I contacted the dealership and spoke with them and they told me they would take care of everything and I just needed to schedule a time to bring it to them to get it fixed. The dealership then informed me that they did not have the correct tools to fix the job and instead referred me to take the vehicle to a Ford Dealership. This is exactly what we did and according to the warranty we had 30 days or 1,000 miles. It still has not been 30 days from the date that we purchased the vehicle and it has been much less mileage then 1,000 miles. After we took the vehicle to Ford on April 6, 2016 which was a Wednesday and I told the dealership exactly what Jeep said and Jeep is the dealership I purchased the vehicle from. I also authorized the work to be done at Ford to break down the engine (which is what Royal Admin requested I do) which was 4 hours worth of labor just to prove to the adjustor exactly what the dealership said was true all along and from the beginning. We then played the waiting game for over 4 days for this adjuster to come and look at the vehicle. We originally called Edmunds to start the claim, and the next day they acted like they never received the claim, then Edmunds finally told us after many calls to them that we should have started the claim with Royal Administration and gave us this number that is listed on the site. We call Royal Admin that day to get the claim started which would have been on Thursday April 7, 2016 and Shawn which is the service advisor at Ford, he spoke with Nancy who would not provide her last name and according to her they had 24 to 48 hours to send out a rep to make sure that the claim is legit. It takes a rep until Friday April 9, 2016 to come out to Ford just to look at it. The rep then waited until late Monday which is the day I am writing this as the Rep came back and said we will not cover the engine because the tires are not factory stock.. We made absolutely no modifications to the vehicle and did not know that modifications had even been done and according to the dealership they made no modifications either. We bought the truck exactly how it came from the dealership. This has left us stranded without a vehicle as no where in any dealing or anything that we ever received printed from this company ever stated that we needed to look out for the tire size before purchasing a vehicle. This is completely wrong and unmoral how could you leave someone stranded on the side of the road after they just purchased a vehicle! We Traded in 2 brand new vehicles for an older vehicle to save money and the only reason is because I thought that this company was a reputable company but obviously not and the dealership is not willing to pay for the truck. Also, it has now been past the 30 day mark, and we never received any of the paperwork to actually register this truck, they have not paid off the second car we took to them and now my wife credit has been trashed as we were told that her vehicle would be paid off, and the dealership is already listing her car to be sold on their website. We are now stranded without a vehicle and I need legal advice please. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this :) More

I just did not have a good experience there at all and would not recommend anyone to ever go there to buy a vehicle. One thing that got me was he was at a Jeep dealer and did not know anything about the product he sells. Oh and just because I am a woman does not mean I'm just interested in the radio. More

The manager told me that was just to get me in the door.... So a lie. Not very happy. Also, the warranty was explained better than it actually was after I agreed upon a price. Once I went back to sign papers I actually had to buy another type of warranty which brought my monthly payment over the amount I was expecting. More

Even before I got there the salesman was very pushy to sell it to me. When I got there the truck was not as it was advertised. The salesman acted like I was stupid when I asked about it, or frankly, for any questions that I asked. He didn't really answer any of my questions, just wanted me to buy, buy, buy! I was planning on leaving with the truck and didn't appreciate being 'persuaded' into it. Before I left I talked to the manager about the misrepresentation on the sales website and he promised that he would make it up to me...nothing ever came of that. (That was 5 months ago!) Overall I am happy with the truck but very disappointed with the dealership, especially the salesman! More
Intimidating, lies, and zero concern for family safety We were interested in a specific used car this dealership had so my wife, daughter, and I went to look at it. When we got there the "just cleaned, ins We were interested in a specific used car this dealership had so my wife, daughter, and I went to look at it. When we got there the "just cleaned, inspected, and put up for sale" car was absolutely filthy inside and out. I'm a car detailer on the side so this isn't the end of the world, but not the best way to represent a car. We test drove it, liked it, and walked inside. I was immediately asked for my social security number. I hadn't even agreed to buy the car and they wanted my social!? "We do this to get the best rate." Rates don't matter if we don't even have a sale price. They agree to pass on taking credit information down and we haggle on price. A short time later we have a deal in place so we apply for credit. An hour passes and they say "We are close. Just ironing out some details." Another hour passes and they say "Just a few more minutes." ANOTHER hour passes and the dealership is closed, "Just a few more minutes!" I threaten to leave and I'm told at that point that their system is down and they cannot process the information tonight. They've known the entire time and didn't tell us. My child is starving, tired, and they are holding us there without telling us anything. They state that we are approved so they let us take the car, give us a full tank of gas, and say they will come to our house to get the rest of the paperwork done. VERY COOL on their part! Two days later all paperwork is signed and we own the car. A very annoying moment is when the finance guy (David Cooperstein) pushes a warranty so hard he resorts to saying I'm "risking everything" by not taking out their insanely overpriced warranty. The car we bought still has years of factory warranty left! **This is where things take a crazy turn.** I am vacuuming out the car and discover a weird safe wrapped, via security cable, underneath the passenger seat. Upon further inspection it is determined to be a gun safe. It is locked so I cannot open it, but it was heavy enough that I was concerned something may be inside. This gun safe is 12 inches away from where our 18 month old sits in her car seat and we've just been driving it around with no idea. I have no problem with guns and have owned some myself, but I know nothing about this setup and given how close it is to my child I want it out NOW. I set up a meeting with the manager of the dealership. The manager, Dennis Hall, comes and speaks with me personally. I explain that there's a gun safe under the seat and his response is "Okay." I explain my concerns about it, that it's locked, and he asks "Is there a gun inside?" I explain I cannot tell as it's locked and I want it gone no matter what. He takes the car and has it removed. He comes back and says "This isn't a gun safe per my guys. It's just something you can put items inside to keep them safe." As he's flailing it around in the air and looking at it, he completely ignores the fact that it says GUNVAULT all over the back of it. He keeps talking and says "Honestly, when we see stuff like this in a vehicle I would get mad at my guys if they removed it or damaged it, especially if it's locked." I am speechless. At that time I point out that it's absolutely a gun safe and says GunVault on the back and his response is "Well, would you like it or should I throw it away?" Zero concern, zero care, zero anything. Not only does he not care, but he flat out admits if they see something like this in a vehicle that they are trying to sell to you that they won't remove it. Unbelievable. Given his complete lack of any sort of care about this situation, I thank him for removing it and leave. I'm glad nothing was in it, but am greatly concerned that this might happen again at this dealership to someone else. They pride themselves in looking vehicles over, cleaning them, making sure they are ready for you, giving them an extra warranty, but miss something as serious as a gun safe? Not good. I will say a thank you to Levonshe (the salesman) for all of the help he provided. He was great. David Caldwell was great as well, but I will never buy from this dealership again. I will never recommend them either. More
