From my issues with taxes and getting affordable insurance on my new Dodge they went out of their way to make it happen. All were very polite and respectful even with my terrible credit score. Thank you. More

They said I need proof of oil changes that I do myself at home. Dodge Customer Care told me to bring in bank receipts and I did. The service center still would not cover the repair. With TWO warranties. This place is beyond abysmal! I will never, ever recommend anybody take their car to Stateline Dodge! More
Horrible customer service!!!!!!! I came by to look at a Volkswagon Tiguan that was advertised with Navigation, Back up Camera and Sun Roof and it had none of those. I was told Car Gu I came by to look at a Volkswagon Tiguan that was advertised with Navigation, Back up Camera and Sun Roof and it had none of those. I was told Car Guru was a third party website and they had no control over their advertisement. They only had control over their website which was also incorrect as it showed a back up Camera for this exact vehicle. I asked for the sales manager to tell him about these issues as it was upsetting to make the trip and instead of apologizing and stating that he would correct their website, he looked at me and asked if I was going to buy the car or not. I left there so furious. He had no time for someone who was not going to buy a car. Why would I buy a car missing the options that I drove to this dealership for. I will NEVER RETURN!!!!!!! More

We received an outstanding deal on a vehicle we fell in love with the minute we saw it. There was no pressure and they let the car sell its self. We have NEVER been treated as well as we were today when buying a vehicle. I will recommend this dealer and these two guys to everyone I know. Thanks guys for making me the "xxxx yeah that's my grandma!!" More
No title, no second key, lots of promises At the end of 2017 I went to State Line after receiving an online quote. I was told I didn't qualify for many of the discounts used in the quote, but I decided to proceed and settled for what they would give me.. I paid with a check and signed over my old car. I was told I could transfer my tags on the receipt and, after signing, that the second key was at a salesman's home but would be available the next day. I found that I cannot transfer my plates without the certificate of origin (title) and my car insurance won't cover theft if I don't have both electronic keys - key replacement costs nearly $1,000. All I get after numerous requests for more than a week is more excuses on both items. Soon I will have no car I can legally drive or insure, HOWEVER THE DEALERSHIP CASHED MY CHECK AND GOT PAID IN FULL. I have appealed to the Attorney General of Missouri about theSE fraudlent acts by the dealer, but the AG doesn't seem too concerned about people being cheated. STAY AWAY!!!! More
See all other negative reviews Pete Macey pick up the phone every time you call. Ask him something, I can almost guarantee he'll tell you that, "yes, I can get it", "yes, it'll be Pete Macey pick up the phone every time you call. Ask him something, I can almost guarantee he'll tell you that, "yes, I can get it", "yes, it'll be a easy swap for the color", "yes I can get you that color in a day or two"; basically anything to drive foot traffic into the dealership. Quick background. I'm one of those guys that over research and over think before heading into any purchase over 1k. I was at Olathe Dodge the day before and found the car I wanted but I saw the extra discount Stateline Dodge website (extra 2k), I've asked Pete over the phone, he ignored the questions and told me to come it. So I did. Found out that the extra 2k over all the other dealers is for specific set of conditions that I did not qualified; okay, that's fine, I got suckered into the dealership, which was expected. Here comes the fun part, I was there for 3 hours and had my trade for valuation. I shared with them another dealership from the day before (Olathe Dodge offer and they are awesome). After 3 hours, they gave me the same car (yes, I've checked the vin #), they don't have the car in their lot and told me it would be a week to get it from the dealership I was in the day before and they jacked up the base price, provided me less discount and than told me it was like $500 off (because they gave me more on the trade) but they jacked up the base price and gave me less discount. Seriously, I gave them the offer sheet from the other dealer to work with and they told me they beat them by $500 when it was only like $50 some odd dollars. I'm not sure if that was finance or just Michale unable to do perform math. Anyways, Michael Reed rocked his fedora hat but if you asked him to do more than one thing at a time, he gets confused, or if you tell him what you really want, he'll tell you to stop and so he can finish his thought. He also don't know how to use the dodge.com site to build the car I'm trying to order. I hardly ever gave bad reviews but this was so bad that I had to warn others. I wasn't given the key back to value my trade in but no one knew where it was parked after I told them I didn't want to buy from them. So I went to service dept and they walked around the lot to look for my car. I felt like I was held hostage, I'm sure that's not there intention, or is it? In conclusion, Pete Macey - managing partner will say whatever to get you onsite, got it, that's his job. Michael Reed - unable to listen or multitask, takes forever on everything (maybe he is waiting for others). He also lost my wife insurance card for a brief moment. R.L Swanson - talked to him for 3 minutes, I liked the guy and he didn't try to push me to buy a car from them. All in all, unless you really want a car from this dealership. Only get it if it's on their lot, don't give them your trade in car key unless you really want to buy a car from them. Avoid Michael Reed if you are fast pace kind of guy and just want to buy a car and go home. Lastly, I actually visited Stateline Dodge a year ago before this review to try to get a Jeep but the sales lady was trying to convince me and my wife that buying a Jeep is like joining a family. Granted, she was really new to the industry but I see similar tactics from one of the senior sales person after a year. Final thoughts, if you are new to car buy, you should go in there and get the traditional car buying experience. If you have purchased a number of cars like myself, you might want to avoid it. More
lied too Had my car towed to car dealer and was told if I spent the 1800 dollars on it that I could get another 100,000 miles out of my car.Now two weeks late Had my car towed to car dealer and was told if I spent the 1800 dollars on it that I could get another 100,000 miles out of my car.Now two weeks later I had it towed back and am being told that my fuel pump has gone out. Supposedly a mulit-point inspection was done on my car, water pump replaced, and spark plugs and some gaskets changed. I was lied to in order for them to get the 1800 dollars and now they are saying I need over $700 worth of work on it. There is no way I would have invested the $1800 if I would have known that I was going to need more money two weeks later. Of course he was real friendly when he lied to me. More
Overcharging, not telling the truth, not providing a loaner Took my 2010 Jeep Wrangler in for service and was notified that I had a failed instrument cluster and was quoted $1000 to replace and was notified tha Took my 2010 Jeep Wrangler in for service and was notified that I had a failed instrument cluster and was quoted $1000 to replace and was notified that they had to keep my car but would not provide a loaner vehicle. I paid for a rental for one day but then they notified that they would have to keep the car for up to a week until the new cluster showed up and they still would not provide a loaner. I was told by the service professional "we don't have any loaners". So i decided to call around and take it to a new place for service. As I was leaving the parking lot, the dealer called me back and mentioned that they can all of a sudden get me a loaner AND that they would only have to keep my car for a couple days. Funny of the narrative changed when I planned to take my business elsewhere. So I decided to let them complete the work. I asked if they could fix my glove box while completing the cluster service since I was spending so much for other fixes. They did not fix it but they told me what it was (needed new latch) and quoted me $120 to get the glove box fixed. So even after I spend all this money on my current service (and previous services) they couldn't cover my glove box for free? So i decided to just take service on the cluster. I bought a latch on ebay for $30 and installed it in 15 MINUTES! They charged me $120 for 15 MININUTES! CROOKS! I will never take my vehicle to this dealership again. More
