Absolutely, horrible sales practice. I have the emails and orders confirming all transactions and confirmed prices but they failed to follow through. After not hearing from dealership for several days about transaction, I called to learn that vehicle I special ordered in February was sold . Unbelievable - never again for us to buy a vehicle or recommend this dealership…. More
I reached out to this dealership in search of a new vehicle, asking what offer they were able to give me with no hassle. Then after telling them I had an offer from another dealership, they were finally willing to work on an offer. I was texting with a salesman for over 4 hours before getting an offer. When he finally sent it, I did was not able to respond immediately and he sent a "?" within two minutes of the offer (red flag #2). I thought this was rude, especially after I had been so patient with him. He told me he took $7,000 off the price of the vehicle, but when I looked at the offer he had also added back in $3,000 of options I did not want (red flag #3). When I told him this, he said they could not remove them and that they were already on the vehicle. I feel they were not upfront with this and should have included these things in the price of the vehicle if they were not optional. Ultimately decided to walk. More

My experience having service work done on 2 different vehicles that I bought from Cable Dahmer over the course of 16 years was that the work is seldom completed properly or on schedule. Their prices f vehicles that I bought from Cable Dahmer over the course of 16 years was that the work is seldom completed properly or on schedule. Their prices for their sevice work is as high or higher than you would pay anywhere else, I have discovered. I would recomend taking your GM vehicle to a different dealership for service work, or simply finding a trustworthy independent mechanic to do maintenance or repairs. Cable Dahmer is better at taking your money and making excuses for their poor service work than they are at simply getting the jobs done correctly. More
We have had a terrible experience. Used sales rushed our purchase. They had to come to our house take car back and service it. Customer treatment here is really poor. I was so disappointed. Didn't Buy A Car From Them... But Wish I Had! I did NOT end up purchasing a vehicle from Cable Dahmer Chevrolet, let me get that out of the way up front... but I wish I HAD because I have nothing I did NOT end up purchasing a vehicle from Cable Dahmer Chevrolet, let me get that out of the way up front... but I wish I HAD because I have nothing but praise for them! The ONLY reason I purchased a vehicle from someone else was because Cable Dahmer didn't have the EXACT car I was looking for... but they came so close. For starters, I was looking for a Black 2012 - 2015 Chevrolet Sonic RS 6-Speed Manual Turbo with under 100K Miles for around $6,000... and what they had to offer was a Dark Gray 2013 Chevrolet Sonic LT 6-Speed Manual Turbo with under 100K Miles for around $6,000... so close right? Everyone from the sales staff, to the customer service rep, to the finance officer were so kind, responsible and willing to work with me. They were all very patient and understanding as they bent over backwards to meet all of my requests during this Covid-19 Crisis. They were not pushy at all and they all communicated well via phone calls, texts, emails, pictures and videos despite the fact that they're based in Kansas City, MO and I'm in Dallas, TX. I was on the verge of making the 7- hour road trip up there to purchase the car they had to offer and had even placed a $500 deposit down to make it happen. But the weekend before my planned trip is when I found the car I ended up with being sold by an individual seller. In the end, Cable Dahmer was very understanding and I had no issues with keeping my $500 deposit back. I would HIGHLY recommend working with them for your car purchase needs. They are VERY professional and you'll be glad you did! More

We decided that we wanted the car, so a price was negotiating. But during this process, the salesman kept repeating himself and spoke to us like we were idiots. Even after putting up with all that, we decided that we would get the car, since it was what we were looking for. We were led to believe that we were getting a tremendous deal, even though that was not true. (We would bring up certain things about the car, and all he would say was "it passed inspection".) After we wrapped up the financing, we were given the keys. As we go out to get the car, we notice that there was damage on the front end. (The carfax said it was in the back.) When we showed this to the salesman, all he said was that there was no way his manager was going to pay for any repairs, since "we got such a good deal". This was said with a grin on his face and a condescending tone of "sucks to be you". He gave me the feeling that he thought we were a family of suckers and that he got one on us. We won't ever be going back. More
