I came to this dealership after looking at prices of Toyotas online and finding out about the Costco Auto program. First I had gone to CARSON Toyota, looking at a new Corolla 10 with a moonroof at aroun Toyotas online and finding out about the Costco Auto program. First I had gone to CARSON Toyota, looking at a new Corolla 10 with a moonroof at around the price of 16,200~16,700, but the salesman there was too pushy and was giving me the run around about why it was priced so low. The salesman followed me out to the lot and was only interested in getting me to buy a more expensive car which I was not interested in at all. I asked if the car would be there tomorrow and he told me he doesn't know because he can't make that promise. I left the lot telling him I needed more time to think about it. I went to CABE toyota with my dad through contacting the Costco auto program. The staff in the lot were immediately friendly to us and welcomed us in. Before I sat down and negotiated prices Rod offered a test drive which the other car dealership didn't even offer me. Rod was not pushy whatsoever and was genuinely interested in hearing out what I wanted to look for in a car rather than asking me too look at cars that might have more features (in other words be more expensive). When Rod sat us down he was very straight forward with the prices and what I was getting. He told us the price which was around 16,500. The only problem was that I still needed to think about was going back to Carson since their Corolla was offered at around the same price, but it had a moonroof. Rod went in to discuss this with his manager and then Joe came in to talk to us. I explained the situation about Carson Toyota and how I needed more time to decide and he asked me what would it take to have me buy a car from them today. Joe crunched the numbers explained to me that it was really strange that that dealership would sell that car for that price because the salesman would not be getting a profit from the deal. I thought that was pretty strange too. Going back to Carson Toyota just seemed shady. Joe then offered to sell us the same car (with the moonroof) for around 17,100 through the Costco Auto Program with no delivery charge. He worked really hard by calling different places to even look for the color (barcelona red) I wanted, but there was only silver available. I highly recommend this dealership! The service there was friendly and the people there did everything they could to make the experience as comfortable and easy they could make it. Even when I requested another test drive with my delivered car before I left the lot with the car Rod was more than happy to come along. They also have free car washes even if you aren't getting your car serviced! I wouldn't see why anyone would go anywhere else. :) More
Luther Royal was an incredible to work with. Friendly, knowledgeable, and with no hidden agenda. I recently bought a brand new 2010 Corolla S. As soon as I pulled up in the dealership (Cabe Toyota) I was greeted by Luther Royal. I had been to two previous Toyota dealerships and did not like what I was being offered, so when I was treated with such respect and honest concern for what I wanted regarding my vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised and excited. I felt like Luther sincerely cared about my needs and did all he could to make sure he delivered; Luther fought to get me the car I wanted and at the price I wanted. I left the dealership feeling happy and ready to tell others about my experience. My first car purchase was nothing like the one I experienced at Cabe Toyota with Luther and his coworkers. They were all eager and ready to provide wonderful service and made sure I was comfortable while I was making my purchase. They all had smiles and looked happy to be representatives of the Toyota brand. I love the Toyota brand; this is my third car and I have only had Toyotas. I can honestly say that I will stay in touch with Luther Royal. When it is time for my next car, I will be sure to have Luther help me. Until then, he is recommended to all that would like to experience great customer service and sincerity while making a car purchase (or lease). Our old Sienna lease was up and it was time for a new one. We were in the unfortunate position of being way over the mileage limit and there was some tire and body damage that was beyond the normal use one. We were expecting to have to come up with about $2500 in charges to Toyota Financial. I had spoken to Luther Royal on the phone a couple times and found him to be low-key, soft-spoken, and willing to accommodate. After a little back and forth, he gave us a quote fairly competitive with other dealers. But after he learned of the old Sienna, he was willing to help us out by having the dealership purchase the car and pay off the lease, extricating us from those excess mileage and wear charges. When we arrived at the dealership we found him to be friendly and quite professional. We didn't feel any pressure. He and the sales manager Shaun, who was also very professional and low-key, made an offer to purchase the old Sienna for a price that nearly paid off the car, and they rolled the few additional hundreds of dollars we would have to pay into the new lease. They gave us a very good price for the new Sienna, and the monthly payment was quite reasonable even with the little extra in the lease to pay off the old car. We figure they saved us at least $1600. Luther took extra effort to explain the features of the new Sienna to us, and they made sure the car was washed and was filled with gas. He spent the time to help transfer all our paraphernalia (quite a bit, actually) from the old Sienna into the new one. Extra perks at this dealership include free unlimited carwashes (actually saves a lot of money if you have a van or SUV) and several free oil changes (I can't remember how many). We felt the atmosphere at Cabe Toyota, which is a smaller, family-owned dealership, was much more relaxed compared to the large high pressure sales-machine dealerships. It was also more transparent, with the sales manager available right there, instead of somewhere behind the scenes at the big dealerships. Everyone treated us well and we would certainly consider going back for our next car, even though the dealership is 25 miles away. More

I couldn't find the car I wanted in all of Southern California no matter what the color, I was told forget it! They tried hard to find me the car when all the other dealers just didn't put in ANY effort to do so. They didn't try to gouge me on the price because the car is rare in Southern California either. A reasonable price on the car I wanted and hard work on their part made me buy from them! After the car arrived at the dealership, we came to pick it up. The actual purchasing experience was smooth and painless. Eddie Hernandez handled all the paperwork and was wonderful to us. Then Joe Garcia gave us a complete instructional tour of our new car and introduced us to their Service Department where we will get THREE YEARS of free oil changes and a lifetime of car washes! In no time we were finished and drove away in our new Toyota "Wave Line Pearl" Highlander 4x4 "Base" model (btw, which no other dealer could find for us). Even though I was using the Costco Car program I was still skeptical of the treatment by any car dealer. However, within a few hours of emailing info to Costco I was contacted by Joe Garcia at Cabe Toyota and made arrangements to meet. He was most casual yet professional. He produced the appropriate documents, had a car in inventory that met my wife’s needs (and then some), drove it to our home and let her have a test drive. We met back at Cabe, with our trade-in, and finalized the paperwork. Of course, I do know that dealers get legal kickbacks and spifs from the car companies on their “invoice prices” but I didn’t bring up the subject. When the amount for the trade-in value was offered it was acceptable even though I could have probably negotiated something off the warranty extension or Lojack pricing at the big crunch; the Financial office. We were blessed that we didn’t need to get down to a certain monthly payment amount so we left feeling good about the transaction and knowing that they DID make enough money to afford to cover any fix-it expenses in the future. Joe even introduced us to a service writer. The bottom line is we DID “enjoy the dance the morning after” because they were all very courteous and respectful. We do not hesitate to recommend this dealership. More

Dan Duddridge offered a good price from the start, took care of the financing, and picked the vehicle up from out of town. All of this was done in two or three phone calls. Once the vehicle arrived Joe Garcia did a great job of explaining all of the vehicles features and answered any follow up questions I had. I talked to five other Toyota dealers before contacting Cabe and none of them had a clue about how to help a customer. As long as Dan and Joe are there, my Toyota business belongs to Cabe. More

We decided we wanted another, but with a double cab due to the expectation of a child. We contacted several dealers through the on-line tool and did not get very much other than a high pressure "only come if you are ready to buy immediately" answer when we wanted to just discuss and research. We stopped by CABE one afternoon while we were out doing errands and we met Luther on the lot. He knew the truck and options very well and did not pressure us at all. Cabe did not have the truck in inventory, but was willing to work to get it and at the price we agreed upon, near dealer invoice, with options. We left a deposit and went home. About two days later Luther called and said they had done a trade with another dealer. This was a prime color, fully loaded, 4x4, TRD, double cab Tacoma and the deal was not that favorable to CABE, but they did it anyway to keep a long-time customer. Luther was excellent in this process. He is a very calm, no-pressure, easy to talk to individual. I hope he stays with CABE for awhile. My wife and I both look forward to dropping in and seeing him when we are there for service or parts for the older truck. More
