Theresa Henson was the first person to greet me when I walked into Miller Honda to buy a car. She showed me inventory of cars they had on display and advised that in case I did not like any in stock that walked into Miller Honda to buy a car. She showed me inventory of cars they had on display and advised that in case I did not like any in stock that they could order one that I wanted. I did not need to take a drive in the model I liked and told her she had the purchaser but I would have to bring out the decision maker...my wife...Threresa went over the car completely with my wife and me...very educated on this model..and we decided at once to take the car she showed us. Love the car..drives great..and would highly recommend this lady as a super salesperson who cares about the customer. She has called us several time to make sure we are happy with our purchase...we really are...James D. Butler More
We had the absolute PLEASURE of working with George Waymack, Sales & Leasing Consultant, with Miller Honda, during our first leasing experience two weeks ago. We leased a 2013 Honda Pilot XL after trad Waymack, Sales & Leasing Consultant, with Miller Honda, during our first leasing experience two weeks ago. We leased a 2013 Honda Pilot XL after trading in our 2005 Honda Element (which we also purchased from Miller Honda as a new vehicle). This is our third transaction with this dealer, and each time has been an awesome experience. George was not pushy, and he listened to our needs and gave us exactly what we wanted and needed - from the color of the vehicle, to the price, to the service! George took his time with us, made us understand and feel comfortable with our leasing options, has followed up on at least three occasions since our purchase both through letters and phone calls, and we simply could not be more satisfied with this transaction. It was also a great experience working with Darin and Paige, and we highly recommend this dealership. Thank you to the entire Miller Honda crew (but especially George!!), for, once again, treating your customers with dignity and respect, and for making customer satisfaction your priority! Sincerely, Matt & Cassie Purtlebaugh More
We visited four other dealers in Winchester, VA as well as communicated with a few out of the area via Internet. We encountered every type of sales person from the super pushy, over eager "Let's make a De as communicated with a few out of the area via Internet. We encountered every type of sales person from the super pushy, over eager "Let's make a Deal" guy and the "hey we got cars what can we put you in today" type, and the very informative professional who wanted to build a long term relationship between he and us and his dealership. We looked at a few different manufacturers and makes of crossover SUVs, which had a few different price points. We chose the Honda CRV-EX which was at the higher end of our pricing comfort. We chose it because it was well made, had a few nice standard features which we liked. however, the real reason we bought at Miler Honda was our sales person George Waymack. George is a good guy. He knows his business, , and his merchandise. From the beginning, George was very personable, and took the time to learn a bit about my wife, myself and our needs as a family for the vehicle. He took the time to review the different models of the CRV and the differences between them. When he accompanied us for the test drive, while he was informative as to what the vehicle had to offer, and how we could operate it effectively. What we truly enjoyed was George's company for the trip. It was truly a pleasant experience. George allowed us to to enjoy the ride of the vehicle, pointing out some of the nicer aspects of the CRV occasionally. Mostly we talked about families and vacations, and life in Winchester. George let our experience make our minds up. We were in the market for the vehicle because an accident destroyed our former SUV. We had to wait to hear from our insurance company regarding the settlement before we could actually make the purchase. While we were waiting to hear about that, we kept getting calls from a few of het other sales people looking to "make the deal today". We did hear from George who wanted to see if we had any more questions and to see if we had heard from the insurance company. When we did get the settlement, we went right over to see George. We felt most comfortable with him and he really made us comfortable with Miller Honda as a place we could do do good business and establish a good relationship with. We once again reviewed the vehicle and then established what options we needed to have. The negotiation over the final price established a deal I think both we and the dealership were happy with. George obtained the car in the color we wanted and had the options we needed already installed when we arrived to do the paperwork and receive the car a couple days later. Going through the credit process is usually such a pain, however, we filled out a basic application on line with Miller and had the process under way before we arrived. We were treated very well at Miller during our time there filling out the paperwork. Everyone from Sheila the sales manager to Page who handled our paperwork went out of their way to make us comfortable, and to have the process as easy as possible. Every single person we encountered at Miller including the general manager Darrin, were the finest professionals we'v encountered in quite a while. I highly recommend you go to Miller Honda when you need a vehicle. You'll b treated as good as i was. I saw a lot of people there in our time with George, and everyone was treated in the best way possible. I've been in sales a long time, and I've been a sales triainer for many years. I appreciate a great sales person who is proud of their company and assured of their quality. I was impressed with Miller Honda, and greatly impressed by George. Go see him! you'll be glad you did. On 8/10/12 my wife received a price on a 2012 Crosstour with salesman, Pat; that he claimed came directly from sales Manager Sheila Starliper. The price was good and he stated she really wanted to get rid with salesman, Pat; that he claimed came directly from sales Manager Sheila Starliper. The price was good and he stated she really wanted to get rid of it. General Manager Darren Jenkins offered to let her drive it home overnight so I could see it. On 8/11/12 we returned to the dealership to purchase the vehicle. We told Pat that we weren’t trading our car. When asked about financing, we allowed them to run us thru Honda finance although we had backup financing already. He returned and said they’d prep the vehicle and asked how much we were putting down. We told him $10,000. As he left he said “dam”. He returned shortly and said there had been a mistake and they couldn’t sell the vehicle for the original price. They had run the wrong stock number and the price now was $2,000 more. We told him we couldn’t do that and left. We returned later that day and spoke with the Darren Jenkins. I told him that I enjoyed dealing with car salesmen as much as dentists and this experience we had just had confirmed that. Darren explained it was simply a mistake made somewhere in the negotiation process and the wrong stock number was used. He claimed they must have only priced the car from the stock number on a computer, he did not know it was the costlier model. However, the car we were interested in, sat on the showroom floor in front of his desk and he prepared the paperwork for my wife to drive it home. We didn't believe his explanation of mistaking the vehicle for a less costly one. After searching edmons.com and usaa (how auto dealers make their money), I believe the dealership wouldn't be making the money they thought they would. I don’t recommend this dealership. More
On Monday I filled out a credit application for a vehicle. I called on Tuesday to find out the availability of the vehicle i had found online. They assured me it was still there but in the Martinsbur vehicle. I called on Tuesday to find out the availability of the vehicle i had found online. They assured me it was still there but in the Martinsburg location and would ship it to the Winchester location. I called on Wednesday to confirm it was there and available. 2 different sales associates told me yes it is there, so I get my husband and my cosigner ready to go get this car to my surprise they told me they sold it on Monday. Between Monday and Wednesday when I went down there someone I spoke with could have at least said I'm sorry the vehicle was sold. And when we were in there not 1 sales associate was courtious, so we left and will not return. I would not recomend this company to anyone. #1 in the shenandoah valley HA I can not figure out why? Our experience with this dealership was awesome. We came in on one of the hottest days of the year and George was the first to greet us as we were walking to the door. Then with the help of Darrin and George we closed a deal on a brand new Honda. We will always be grateful for everyone's help and will continue to buy vehicles there. We felt at home as there was a nice little play table that kept my 2 1/2 year daughter busy while we handled all the paperwork. Great place to buy and great people to work with. More

Gary called the next day to see if we made it home OK! What could have been a bad experience turned out to be a great one meeting awesome people and receiving immediate attention and fair repair costs even though we had not purchased the car from Miller's. Everyone working there was happy! What a great place. When we decide to buy a new car, we will make the 100-mile trip to Miller Honda! Thank you especially to Gary Stroble for such caring service. Excellent experience. I feel that I got a good price without having to haggle. There was no "high pressure" to get me to buy the car.
