Horrible Customer Service On Friday, October 25th I contacted Colonial Honda because I was interested in locating a 4WD 2015 Honda Pilot. Judd (the salesperson) said they only On Friday, October 25th I contacted Colonial Honda because I was interested in locating a 4WD 2015 Honda Pilot. Judd (the salesperson) said they only had a 2WD but that there was a 4WD available at their Colonial Chevy dealership and that he would have it brought over on Sunday. I didn't hear from him but followed up with a phone call around 1pm. He stated that he had indeed brought it over from the Chevy dealership. My wife and I drove to the Honda dealership to take a look at it. We liked the Pilot but when we started discussing the price, Greg (the manager) said that he was unsure how much negotiating space he had on the vehicle and asked if he could call us on Monday with a quote. He said we would get in touch with us around 11am since Monday mornings can be busy. We said that would be fine. We heard nothing from him and around 4pm I called Judd to get an update. He did not know what was going on but did call me around 6pm with some numbers. They seemed high but said that I would let him know first thing in the morning which I did. Around 8:30, prior to their opening I called to tell him we would take the car. Judd said he would let Greg know. About an hour later I received a phone call from Judd stating that the Pilot was sent back to the Chevy dealer and it sold overnight. I called the Chevy dealership and it, in fact, hadn't sold! I then went down to the Chevy dealership and the salesperson informed me it was indeed still for sale! The process of looking at the vehicle took about 15 minutes. We then sat down in his office to discuss price. At that point someone called him out of his office and magically the Pilot was now sold. This process is unexplainable. I can't figure out why they wouldn't sell to me. I am not alleging a discrimination suit but something was incredibly, remarkably wrong. Poor communication perhaps but definitely extremely poor customer service More
Carl and Jeffrey I have been a customer of Colonial Honda since 1987...reason being, the sales staff and the first rate service department under the management of Carl I have been a customer of Colonial Honda since 1987...reason being, the sales staff and the first rate service department under the management of Carl Solo. I always ask for and have my 4 Hondas serviced by Jeff Magnum, a very thorough technician who work is always top notch. My oldest Honda Pilot has 312,000 miles and still runs great..
