Marlon was very patient with us and very helpful in our choice of cars. We started looking at cars about 8::30 in the morning and went to another dealership and came back to Honda and was driving out with choice of cars. We came in about a month ago looking at cars. Gary See came out to help us. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He never made us feel pressured. Last week, we decided we definitely wanted to trade in our pilot for a sedan. We decided to go back to Gary, we came in on Monday and test drove two accords. They gave us a quote on what they would give us for our pilot. The quoted amount would leave us upside down by $3000. We decided to go look at Carmax to see if we could get more for the pilot from them. Carmax offered us the same amount Colonial Honda had offered us. We went back to Colonial Honda Thursday night and looked at making a deal with a 2007 accord, rolling the $3000 onto the new loan. They worked very diligently trying to make things happen for us. We left that night waiting to hear from Virginia Credit Union about a loan. Friday morning, my husband and I decided that the 2007 just wasn't what we really want so I emailed Gary to say, thank you but we want to go with the 2008 accord we had drove before. I felt bad because they had spend the evening before working on getting us the 2007. He responded with "no problem at all, I just want you to get what you really want". Friday evening we finally got things together on our end and went to the dealership around 7:30 pm. They had me in my "New-to-Me" Honda by 9:00 pm. Everyone at the dealership was so friendly. I truly enjoyed my time there. By the end of my experience, I felt like family. I will (and already have) recommend Colonial Honda and Gary See to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience. My experience at Colonial Honda was AWESOME!! Gary was extremely helpful, and was real patient with me too. HE made sure I left there with the right vehicle for me. His manager Todd was really nice and he extremely helpful, and was real patient with me too. HE made sure I left there with the right vehicle for me. His manager Todd was really nice and helpful too, because with every car I chose he and Gary worked hard to get a bank to bite at the deal. Gary made me want to come and get a new car every weekend because it was such a smooth transition even when some deals didn't fit what I was looking for at that time (I wanted no money down). Gary and Todd got plenty of banks willing to work with me, but they all wanted $1,000 down on the used cars I was picking. Then Gary suggested I look at a few new 2013 vehicles they had and see if there was on that I liked, sure enough I saw the Honda Civic Sedan and felt like was in Heaven, no money down and riding home in a brand new Honda with GREAT gas mileage.
