I decided to buy a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited sedan. I went through USAA's buying service. I spec'ed out the 2011 Turbo and Limited versions with the navigation system installed. While I heard from three dealerships, only Josh Knafel of Apple Valley Hyundai stayed on track and went the extra mile to ensure that I got the car I wanted. It took several weeks for him to find the car but called me several times to keep me informed of the progress. I wanted the car in blue but he called and said that he had a 2012 model in Harbor Gray and offered it to me at the price quoted by USAA for the 2011 model. I had to drive 3.5 hours to get to the dealership from my home in West Virginia. It was worth the trip to this dealership. When I arrived on Friday, Aug 12, the car was detailed and sitting under the front canopy. Josh was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We took a long test drive and he answered all my questions with ease. Josh also made the sales process extremely easy. He took additional time explaining in great detail how each feature on the car worked, even setting up my cell phone on blu-tooth. I was extremely impressed by that. Liza Petrucci is the finance officer and she did not try to pressure me into buying any additional products that I didn't want. She was processing many autos sold that day and was very busy but she took her time to ensure that I had her total focus. She is very professional and friendly. She made the process a breeze. Very efficient financial processing. The best I have ever experienced. This an excellent dealership that I highly recommend to everyone looking in this auto line. More

I could have leased a car closer to home but based on a recommendation from afriend in Winchester, I trekked 70 miles to Apple Vally Hyundai. The personal service by salesman Butch Johnson was great. He went out of his way to accomodate me and see that I got the best deal including trading in my old car. Liza Petrucci made the normally awful process of signing all the paperwork much easier by her pleasant pesonality and her professionalism. Even the sales manager Andy Gray came up and introduced himself which was thoughtful of him. A man named Perry (don't remember his last name) gave me a hands-on tour of my new car. Thanks Perry! All in all, I couldn't be happier with the way Apple Vally Hyundai treated and I wll gladly return there for future business. More
Two weeks ago my wife and I were shopping at the deli and just dropped into the Apple Valley Hyundai dealership down the street on a whim. I had read a lot about the new body styles for the Elantra, Sonata just dropped into the Apple Valley Hyundai dealership down the street on a whim. I had read a lot about the new body styles for the Elantra, Sonata and Veloster, so I was excited to see if I could actually fit into one of these vehicles (I'm 6'4" tall). When we arrived on the lot we began looking at a black 2011 Elantra GLS. Josh Knafel came out to greet us, very casually and without any sense of putting pressure on us. We were just trying to enjoy our afternoon and hadn't really intended to do anything more than look. Turns out I could fit but had a bit of trouble with the Limited's headroom. So we asked what they could do on a trade. Josh surprised us and offered to let us take the car off the lot to finish our shopping while they evaluated our car. When we returned they offered a fair deal on my 2009 Honda Accord even though it had high miles for its age. I later checked all the online used car rating services and found they were right in line with the average adjusted for miles and condition. So, we said what the heck, and told him we'd consider the black GLS, but asked if Josh could hold it. We offered to write a check, but he told us he'd take our word on it and hold the car until we had a chance to think it over. About four days later we returned but I wasn't sure about the color and really wanted a Limited after learning more about them. At this point they had lost a few chances to sell the GLS but I couldn't really live with the choice long term. So despite their inconvenience, I asked if Josh would make me a deal on a silver 2011 Elantra Limited he had on the lot. He wasn't sure if it was available and worked with his manager to check on whether it or another car could work. In the meantime I also asked if he would match an online pricing website's agreed upon price a co-worker told me about. At this point I thought I had stretched the limit of what I could expect from the dealership and Josh. Turns out Josh was able to make it work and I even got the silver Limited on the lot without having to wait for a transfer from another dealer. He then spent a significant amount of time with me going over every detail in how it was supposed to operate. I have since put on nearly 1,000 miles (I drive 186 miles per day to work and back). It has turned out to be a great car for me to drive in the Washington DC metro area and out here in Winchester. My wife dropped off the Honda valet key today and also noticed the lot was emptied out from just last week when we picked up the car. This is a very successful and high-volume dealership I would strongly recommend. More
