I sat for a long time waiting for all the paperwork. I wish that could improve. I have an excellent credit rating and am not sure about why it took so long. I was a little unhappy about the reaction of the loan person. She made me aware that she was unhappy about my not taking any of the extras. I was told after chatting about my experience that I needed to speak up. One thing I would have liked to say was that I was not interested in any of the extras and have the person I am talking to say "OK" lets move right along. I know it is their job, but we should be able to say no and move on. More

He understood my intentions and honored it, unlike other dealers where they either tried to just avoid conversing with me over emails and tried to get me on the phone, or was dishonest and pulled a bait and switch act on me at the last minute when I decided to go with them. Steven was straight forward with his dealings and non-intrusive at all times. Very professional dealer. More

I was on a mission to buy my current car (2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limit Internet buyers are especially encouraged to try out Apple Valley Hyundai. I was on a mission to buy my current car (2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited with Navigation (option 2)) over the Internet after doing my initial test driving and deciding to go with the model. I’ve dealt with exactly 15 Hyundai dealers in the DC metro area including Apple Valley and while EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM wanted to either get me on the phone with them or physically visit the dealership, I refused to do so, partly because of my full-time job and partly because… “I’m buying my next car on the Internet.” If your sales team is named “Internet sales team” why is email not good enough? Why keep asking me to call you? Ok enough of my rant, and while Apple Valley Internet sales agent Steven did ask me for a good time for a phone conversation once, on one of those generic greetings email when he first contacted me, he immediately picked up the fact that I intend to do the dealing online and he’d be glad to help me out and answer any questions. Sure, any car dealer would say that but Steven stuck to his promise. Whenever I asked him hard sales price questions, he’d ask his manager and presented me with the figures with no twisting of words. This went back and forth several times until we met in the middle ground where both parties were happy. This, contrasting to other dealers was night and day. A good number of dealers just plainly refused to deal with me over emails… Some dealers didn’t want to give out the “out-the-door” figures and kept telling me to give them the “out-the-door” figures that I got from other dealers and they’ll either match or beat the price (basically telling me to work for them really…) And the best 2 dealers (/sarcasm) that I dealt with literally did the bait-and-switch crap on me. All 15 of the dealers that I dealt with each got an email from me pointing out the exact VIN and stock #s of the vehicles that I was interested in from their website and I asked them what the out-the-door price they could offer me. Like I said above, some didn’t answer, some just wanted me to give them the figures I got from other dealers, but these 2 best dealers (/yet again sarcasm) gave me a pretty good figure and about 3 – 4 days later, when I finally decided to go with one of them because no one else could beat them, I sent another email making sure that they were referring to the VIN and stock # that I listed on my initial email when I was asking for the out-the-door price. Their replies were… “oops, sorry the price quote was for an inferior model” 2 different dealers did this… I won’t disclose their names but wow did that leave a bitter taste in my mouth… Steven from Apple Valley really stood out with his honesty and diligent work ethics and I really commend him for that. If you’re within the driving distance of Apple Valley Hyundai, do include them in your shopping list. I and my wife drove quite a bit to get to the dealership when we were buying the Sonata mentioned above, but it was well worth it! More
