***WARNING*** I purchased a car from this dealer about 3 months ago. About a month ago, I started noticing the paint peeling. I had someone look at it and let me know that the whole car had been painted W months ago. About a month ago, I started noticing the paint peeling. I had someone look at it and let me know that the whole car had been painted WITHOUT BEING SANDED OR PRIMED FIRST! I suspect, but can't prove they probably bought my car at an auction for a steal, took it to their collision shop and did a quickie paint job to gussy it up. Since I bought the car "as is", I have to pay for the new paint job myself. I am sure they would never admit to doing this, so I am letting people know with this review. More

Really nice man. Easy to work with. Sold me a car that was wrecked. Didn't tell me. It would have been nice to know. Now I'm stuck with a 12,000.00 loan on a bag of lemons. Buyer beware!!! I purchased a 1997 Toyota Avalon from Chris. Chris listened to my needs and picked on the Avalon which was a great little car. When my nephew needed a car I let him have my Avalon and Chris. Chris listened to my needs and picked on the Avalon which was a great little car. When my nephew needed a car I let him have my Avalon and went straight to Chris for another vehicle. Again Chris listened and picked out a 2004 Chevy malibu based on my price range,gas mileage,etc. The autocheck report stated that the car had been in a minor fender bender. Nothing major. I trusted Chris's advice and went ahead with the purchase of the car. Since January I have had nothing but issues with the car and decided to run a car fax report on the car. The car fax showed that the car had been involved in a major accident in which the airbag had been deployed and that it had extensive front end damage from hitting a tree and deploying the air bag. I have no doubt that Chris was aware of this and I truly believe he would have not sold me the car. I was going to go ahead and write a negative review but thought better of it and decided to give CBS a chance to make it right. Chris agreed that the car was not the quality that cbs sells and that he would do whatever he could to make it right. Again, I truly believe he did try. After going to the dealership they offered me an embarrassing price for the car. It would have been a fair price for someone trading the car in just because they wanted a new car, but I felt unsafe I the car after learning that it had been in a pretty bad accident . The finance manger, Charles was very rude and had no compassion as to what I had been through with the car. Yes, I know this is my fault for not following through with the car fax but I believed the name of the company cbs "quality" used cars..I have learned to do your research and trust no one. Another dealership that I have never had any dealings with has offered me more for the car to get me into a safe vehicle. Chris again you are truly awesome. Sorry you work with a bunch of knuckleheads. More

Once I liked it I went to sign all the paper work. Since I didn't trade my car... He delivered my new car to my front door. I couldn't ask for a better service. I have an 08 Eclipse I bought at Carmax as an insurance replacement for another 08 Eclipse I bought brand new before CBS had the franchise. By November 2011 it developed a chronic and annoying brake pedal replacement for another 08 Eclipse I bought brand new before CBS had the franchise. By November 2011 it developed a chronic and annoying brake pedal squeak whenever you let off the pedal. At this point I was still in warranty and CBS diagnosed, ordered and installed a brake booster. I picked the car up on a saturday and by sunday the noise was back. That monday I called Ron Rose in parts to ask if indeed they had installed the booster since it still had the same problem. He said they had. This car resides 2 1/2 hours away so I was not able to get the car back in until I was out of warranty. I was told no problem they could "goodwill it". Several months later I was able to bring it back and they ordered another brake booster so I had to bring the car back later after the part came in. In July I dropped it off again, left it all day with Jeff in service. He called me back late in the day and they didn't have time to do the booster but they did fix my door speaker. So I brought it back AGAIN the next week. This time they kept it for two weeks and I was told it needed another brake booster and a master cylinder. I would have to pay for the master cylinder. They had tried another brake booster and it didn't fix it so they were convinced the master cylinder would fix it. I got Mitsubishi corporate involved because I felt I shouldn't be charged for a misdiagnosis. CBS told me I took too long to bring the car back from the initial repair attempt in November even though they had told me then they could "goodwill it". So, they swapped a brake booster/master cylinder assembly from another car, test drove it, proclaimed it fixed and returned the car to me at "no charge". I was taking the car back to it's home in Charlotte and two hours later the brake pedal was squeaking again. Still not fixed after three brake boosters and a master cylinder. A couple weeks later I was able to bring it back for the umpteenth time and Mitsubishi techline instructed them to replace the ABS module which they did. This finally fixed my original complaint but I had to pay the labor $120 and they "goodwilled" the abs module. I feel that Mitubishi should have absorbed all the repairs. I paid just to get it over with. I was never offered alternate transportation for a repair that took weeks. While all the CBS people and particularly the service manager Ed Bachman have been super friendly and helpful, Mitsubishi should have ate this repair. I have been a loyal Mitsubishi owner for many years and I love the cars. I have owned 7 or 8 since my initial 83 Starion. I now question whether I will own another and I have put my Eclipse SE up for sale. More

bought my jeep from morgan, and was sad when i heard they were closing. cbs has exceeded my expectations since they took over the business. most of the faces are new to me, but the overall experience is th were closing. cbs has exceeded my expectations since they took over the business. most of the faces are new to me, but the overall experience is the same as it was at morgan. regardless the repair that needs to be done, i feel confident i am being lead in the right direction, and being treated fairly. from start to finish, each visit to cbs for service the people are courteous and polite. i recommend the dealership to anyone who has an automotive need of any type.
