DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE! !!! This was the most unprofessional experience with buying a vehicle I have ever had. Purchased a 2016 ford escape. The day after the car was purcha !!! This was the most unprofessional experience with buying a vehicle I have ever had. Purchased a 2016 ford escape. The day after the car was purchased the check engine light came on. They said they “fixed it.” They are LIARS who do not actually check their cars. The transmission blew after only 20,000 miles. Luckily for us, we purchased a warranty for the power train so, the transmission was replaced. After 6,000 miles with the new transmission installed, it blew as well. My 1 and 1/2 year old was in the car both times the transmission blew. For hours. Stranded on the side of the road. I called the dealership and let them know we did not want this car back. They needed to buy it back from us and we needed a SAFE AND RELIABLE CAR instead, especially since our 1 and 1/2 year old will be in it all the time. Patrick told me “that’s kind of the risk you run when you’re purchasing a used car.” Also, tried to put the blame on us for driving the car we bought and putting “all those miles on it” which I thought was the purpose of a car, to drive it. After he argued with me for about 30 minutes on the depreciation of a vehicle and how we drove it too much, I told him that we needed to get this figured out before next week so we’d have transportation for work. The first time the transmission blew, we were not reimbursed for any extra expenses we incurred. (Rental, maintenance on the vehicle, lost days at work, etc.) the second time, they said “we are fixing it, are we not” I said actually, no. The warranty company is so you guys aren’t doing anything, outside of the labor. Which we were still billed for! Their warranty they charge $2000 is a JOKE. The car we wanted to trade it in for, some how went from $18,900 to walking out the door financing it for almost $30,000. The original car we purchased here, was about $12,000. So basically, we purchased a $12,000 car for less than 30,000 miles. And the only other option was $30,000. Then, when speaking with Ken today he said “ we’ll buy the car back from you for almost what you purchased it for” we said okay, even though we were still -$2,000. Ken basically said the same thing Patrick did, “that’s the risk you take when purchasing a used car.” Seems like this is more their motto than their mission statement. We ended up working out a deal with them for the car we traded it in for. However, when confronted with Kelly blue book value cost for the new car, Ken got very upset and said that is what the car should cost. He pulled what the bank said they would loan up to. And showed us that. I also asked for the car fax and it was reported to having 2 accidents. Ken wasn’t even aware. When returning to purchase the car, they still didn’t lower their price with having 2 accidents on it. We will be trading this car and getting rid of it at a different dealership because there is almost certainly something to be wrong with this one as well. We had our daughter and no other option really. They take advantage of you and your money and Ken was worried about how he and all the managers would be losing their commission on this deal. And said that’s the best he could do. “The owner didn’t even want to make the deal.” Is what we were told by Ken. While we lost about a $1000 more, in all extra expenses we occurred. 10 out of 10 do not recommend. Everyone in this place is a joke. More
DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. Bought 2016 that didn’t even last 20,000 miles before the transmission blew. Luckily, we bought a warranty on the power train. So it was replaced. Th Bought 2016 that didn’t even last 20,000 miles before the transmission blew. Luckily, we bought a warranty on the power train. So it was replaced. Through the warranty company. 6,000 more miles on the “new” transmission and that one blew too. Called the dealership to get them to resolve this issue. And they are trying to wash their hands with any responsibility for selling a piece of crap car instead of selling it to auction. The check engine light came on THE DAY AFTER the car was purchased. So, all their preaching about checking and running tests are lies. Jeff, Ken, and Patrick have been doing nothing to resolve this issue. Although, they did pull trade in options. They pulled a trade in value on one of their vehicles and all of the sudden were financing almost $30,000 because they screwed us! The car we originally bought was only $12,000. And they “thought we’d be happy” also, told them my absolute max budget, they got it to that conveniently. Absolute joke and a huge waste of money and time. Also, my BABY was in the car both times the transmission blew. But they’re supposed to be all about “safety and dependability”. Not so safe when my one and a half could have been killed while stranded on the side of the road TWICE for hours. More
I want the company to fix simple issues in order to be efficient. First for long distance travel customer provide them options like 1. Delivery options and price 2.. Return policy if delivery doesn’t m efficient. First for long distance travel customer provide them options like 1. Delivery options and price 2.. Return policy if delivery doesn’t match expectations 2. Respect the customers time. If a customer shows up approved for a car by his or her bank do not try to persuade them to use your loan servicing company. 4. Your sales rep and BCS needs to be in communication to avoid conflict during sales. More
Just put a bandage on it for a quick fix did not do a diagnostic on why it is doing what it is doing still. Loses momentum still.
