Horrible service and persistant lies I broke down and had my vehicle brought there because they said they had the parts. On the first day, they diagnosed the problem and said they needed I broke down and had my vehicle brought there because they said they had the parts. On the first day, they diagnosed the problem and said they needed to buy the parts and required that I pay for them up front. Day two they said the parts weren't in and they needed to do further diagnostics. Day three they said they weren't sure if they had the parts or not but didn't have the time to do he diagnostics. Day four they were closed, but assured me they would have the diagnostics done and I would be on the road on day 5. Day 5 they told me they didn't do the diagnotics and if I wasn't satisfied with their work I could take the vehicle--which was partially taken apart--somewhere else. I didn't know how to deal with it so it stayed there. Day 6 they assured me the work would be completed and it wasn't. Day 7 I was told they were 99 percent sure they'd have the work done. Day 8, in the late afternoon, they did the work. They supposedly found something else wrong and replaced the part but never showed me the supposed broken part. Day 9 I got the vehicle back. Day 10 I had to take it to a different shop because they screwed up the work they did on Day 8. They lied to me through out the process and the work performed. They also said they would give me a partial refund which was also a lie. DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLE HERE FOR REPAIR. More

Vacation break down We are from California, on vacation to Oklahoma. Our pt cruiser broke down in Gallup, New Mexico. Ed Medrano, service manger, was so helpful. Lenny Zelaya, service advisor kept us up to date with what they were doing to fix our car. Every 30 minutes someone cam out to talk to us. Made us feel good. We had to get to wedding Oklahoma, so Ed gave us a free brand new car loaner! We were so grateful, we made the wedding, making our granddaughter so happy. Ed , Lenny and the mechanics were so nice and respectful. Oh our car runs fine, and we will never forget the kindness of them all. Al and Marilyn Doucette More
The Service Dept. is staffed by thieves. Terra too. Oil change. After waiting an hour or so for a simple oil change the service counter girl and told me they could complete the oil change because the dr Oil change. After waiting an hour or so for a simple oil change the service counter girl and told me they could complete the oil change because the drain plug on my oil pan was stripped and couldn't be used and they could sell me a new pan for around $450.00. I knew this wasn't true because I always do my oil changes myself but wasn't able to at this time because of a back injury. If it was stripped it was ruined by the serviceBOY when he drained my oil. It had never leaked oil. I've been maintaining my own vehicles for nearly 60 years and this young girl was snottily telling me about her driving experience and was getting upset that "I was insulting her". I told her I wanted to talk to her Service Manager and when he came out from his desk he argued with me too and since the oil had already been drained he said it couldn't be driven out until it was repaired but would impound it there if I needed time to raise the money for a new pan. To make this short, I told them to put my old plug back into my pan and finish the oil change. He said he couldn't "ethically" do that but I was adamant and he finally agreed to do that if I would sign the invoice to the affect that they held no responsibility for my decision. I did that and Terra exhibited anger toward me as she took me to cash out. My oil pan has never shown any leakage before or after this event. I have to include that many Native Americans have told me of similar aggrevations, rude indifference, and unjustifiable fees with Tate's service. I am not Native. It was obvious that my experience involved the collusion of the service girl, her manager, and his inexperienced mechanic. I think their actions are intentional and should be investigated as a crime. CAUTION I brought my truck in for an inspection of a noise. They did not drive it or put it on a hoist. Their summary of the problem turned out to be wrong. They gave me a estimate for a totally unrelated problem in the five figures. I left there $125 poorer and no solution to my problem. I had to go to a different shop which analyzed it correctly for 1/10 of the price. I feel ripped off and will never darken their door again. BEWARE! More
Great sales experience I recently bought my challenger Hellcat from Tates Auto Center. I have been buying cars for over 40 years and is the best experience I've had. He is an honest, straightforward man. I live in Nevada so we did a lot of our negotiation over the phone. We agreed on a fair price and Daniel handled everything by email. When I drove to New Mexico to pick up my car everything was ready and the car was in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this dealer. Also a big shout out to Jeff the finance manager. He FedEx'd me my title in 3 days. This is a small town dealership and you can tell. They really care about the customer. More

Seven days later and missed my sons deployment they got me for $1480. If this happens to you here have it toyed to any place else. You will be money and ti e ahead! More
