If you’re female, they try to get $$ Service advisor does not know his job. Was told that my car was failed for inspection because my windshield wipers “streaked”. After I informed them t Service advisor does not know his job. Was told that my car was failed for inspection because my windshield wipers “streaked”. After I informed them that both wipers had been replaced within the last 6 months, and I was not aware that I had to wash/detail my car prior to inspection, was told “let me let the tech know, and I will call you back in a few minutes”. Never received a call back, so my husband and I went up to the shop. Upon explaining to other service advisors what was going on, they both said they wanted to see this issue. When my service advisor finally came out, with who I would assume to be the technician, with my paperwork.. was told by the tech that my car didn’t fail. It seems because I am female, went in to drop off the car by myself, and have free inspection (and no emissions because of where the car is registered) that there was an attempt to get me to spend money because I was clueless about cars. More
