I drive a 2015 Forester and ordered a 2023 Forester from Byers Subaru Dublin way back in Sept. 2022. Heard nothing from the dealership for weeks, after putting down $1,000. Reached out to the dealership in Byers Subaru Dublin way back in Sept. 2022. Heard nothing from the dealership for weeks, after putting down $1,000. Reached out to the dealership in Nov. 2022 and was told my requested Forester "should arrive around Jan/Feb." (My prior call went to a full voice mailbox when I tried to talk with sales) On 12/30/22 I spoke with a helpful sales specialist @ Germain Subaru who educated me on their upcoming arrivals, providing specifics and helpful direction. I drove to the auto mall, spoke with her and the energy in the showroom/intentionality were 100% opposite Byers. Cancelled my 9/22 order @ Byers and will purchase a Forester from Germain for obvious reasons. Clear, specific and timely communication with consumers (especially those who already drive the product they're ordering) are essential. More
