He bent over backwards to help us and has checked in with us even after our purchase. He more thoroughly explained every aspect of our new car than any sales person we have ever dealt with... and we have purchased many new cars in the past! More

Best Car Buying Experience I've ever Had Jeff Rittinger. Ask for him. When I got to the dealership, everyone was busy-- for good reason; I'm sure a lot of people want to buy cars from the Jeff Rittinger. Ask for him. When I got to the dealership, everyone was busy-- for good reason; I'm sure a lot of people want to buy cars from these guys. They're legit. I was quickly greeted by Jeff and he told me all about the different Imprezas in my price range. He was literally there to help, not make money off of me. Jeff knowns his cars, but he definitely knows Subarus-- older and new. He wasn't pushy or overbearing; he wasn't fake. The man has a ton of experience in car sales and his expertise and class were unprecedented feats compared to the typical, everyday, dime-a-dozen used car salesman. I ended up getting an Impreza with just over 98k. It came with a great little warranty too!! THE BEST PART This place has certified SUBARU TECHNICIANS WHO KNOW THEIR STUFF. My car started acting up about two weeks after the purchase. I got a follow up call from Jeff and I mentioned it, so he said bring it in! Long story short, the car had a bad transmission that was hard to detect; you have to drive it for a while to feel the problem. So I understand how it went undetected. I was worried that I bought a lemon, and that service would say they couldn't recreate the slipping tranny issue-- that did not happen. I got a call back from the service manger and he mentioned they had to drive it all day, but when they finally felt the issue, they got ahold of their lead transmission guy. He immediately offered to replace the whole transmission free of charge, and recommended that fixing the bad one was not the best solution. Through all this, Jeff kept me informed and at peace along the way. Go there, ask for Jeff, and buy your car from Byers!!! I will be back for a WRX one day, ill promise you that. More

Awful at best My wife and I were referred to this dealer via the Costco Auto Buying program. We were contacted promptly by the salesman and set up some time to see My wife and I were referred to this dealer via the Costco Auto Buying program. We were contacted promptly by the salesman and set up some time to see him the next day to test drive and inquire into purchase of a new Outback. The dealer did not have the exact car we wanted,, however the salesman indicated that he had three vehicles coming sometime in April. Our salesman indicated that these cars could sell at full sticker, and he was not even sure they would continue the Costco program, and if we wanted a vehicle we better order soon. We placed a deposit on a car that would be coming sometime in April While at the dealer we also had our trade appraised. Subaru has a "Guaranteed Trade in Value" program. They undervalued Subaru's guaranteed trade in by $2,000. We were told that the $2,000 was because our tires needed to be replaced and the car had not been serviced at a Subaru dealer. During the period we waited for the car to come, we researched the Subaru Guaranteed Trade Program, and had some questions for the dealer. Our salesman notified us on a Saturday that our vehicle had come in the night before. My wife attempted to make an appointment for the next day to complete the purchase and trade-in. The salesman did not want to set up an actual appointment time and told us to come in and "hopefully he would be able to help us" We arrived at the dealer on Sunday morning to complete the purchase. Before beginning the paperwork, we asked the salesman for the Costco pricing sheet and the invoice on the car. He did not want to share this with us and asked "am I supposed to show this to you??" We also wanted to clarify some questions regarding our trade. The salesman got defensive and let us know that there was "no negotiation" and the dealer would not sell the car if re-negotiation was discussed. His explanation was that none of these went well, and we might give them a "bad satisfaction survey" We pushed for further explanation of the trade in value based on our research. We did mention to the dealer that this felt unfair and felt like a bait and switch. The salesman immediately got up from the table and went to get a manager. The manager came to speak with us and indicated based on the term we used "bait and switch", that they would not sell us the car. We indicated that we were trying to get some answers to explain the difference between what Subaru indicated we should get for our trade, and the dealer assessment. The manager indicated again that they were concerned that they would get a bad customer satisfaction survey from us, and that could cost them business up to 10 cars a month. We had our deposit check returned and all papers that we had completed. The manager said he would have the general manager contact us the next day. As we were leaving, our salesman apologized, but indicated that he could get fired if we competed a bad survey. The dealer felt slighted because they felt they were being accused of wrong doing, when in fact we just wanted a clear explanation. We even offered to take our trade elsewhere so that we could still purchase the car, but the manager refused. We notified Costco and Subaru Corporate of our experience and will be taking our business elsewhere. Both Subaru and Costco were just as bewildered as we were and have never heard of a dealer refusing to sell a car to a paying customer. What the dealer does not realize is a good survey comes with good customer satisfaction....it is a given. By treating us in this way, they have made things worse for their reputation than a lone survey. More
Great Subaru purchase. Purchased a Subaru forester back in 2010 from Byers. Started the process with their internet sales department. Atef Behery was a great sales person. Purchased a Subaru forester back in 2010 from Byers. Started the process with their internet sales department. Atef Behery was a great sales person. I printed out a competitors add with a lower price and Byer's matched the price. I had asked about getting a bottle of touch up paint for future nicks and was told the parts department was closed, it was on a weekend. A week after purchasing our forester a package came in the mail from Atef with a bottle of touch-up paint no charge just a thank you letter. I would have no issue dealing with Atef again. More
Dealership is a total rip off - Very Bad experience We ordered 2015 Subaru Outback(3.6R) through this dealer during end of August through Subaru VIP program. We paid booking amount and the dealer said t We ordered 2015 Subaru Outback(3.6R) through this dealer during end of August through Subaru VIP program. We paid booking amount and the dealer said that it will take approx. 8 weeks to get the vehicle from the factory. They gave us the Retail Purchase Agreement which stated the total sale price of the vehicle. At the end of 6 1/2 weeks, we got a call from another Sales person saying that vehicle was delivered from the factory to their showroom. But to our surprise they also said that we needed pay an extra $2300 dollars since there was a mistake in what they quoted in the Retail Purchase Agreement. We went and met Mr. Keith Cordova and explained that they should have informed us within a week after we booked the vehicle and not this late when the vehicle was ready for pickup. He refused to sell us the car at the agreed price. He was very rude and he said that he can reduce a couple of hundred dollars, but he wanted us to sign a document saying that 'we got an excellent customer service from this dealer'! We asked him to refund the booking amount and walked away from the dealership. If this is the attitude of the Sales Manager when you are buying a new car; one can imagine how it will be when it comes to servicing your vehicle! This dealership is a total rip off. Please think twice before you go to this dealership. More
Surpassed my highest expectations Last year I had the good fortune to purchase a new Subaru Forester at Byers Dublin. The professionalism, expertise, and zealous devotion to customer Last year I had the good fortune to purchase a new Subaru Forester at Byers Dublin. The professionalism, expertise, and zealous devotion to customer satisfaction exhibited by Byers Dublin’s employees were astounding. The sales representative, Keith, was especially impressive. My first visit: My first visit to Byers Dublin was with my wife and kids. I wanted to see which vehicles best accommodated my family so I brought them along to get their opinions and to see how they would all fit in different vehicles. At that time I hadn't determined which make I was interested in. I didn't know whether I wanted to purchase new or used. I wasn't even sure whether I’d be purchasing something soon or putting it off to the distant future. Now most car dealers would run in fright at the sight of an indecisive ‘tire-kicker’ who has no intention to purchase anything on the day of his visit – not so with Keith. He gave us a warm welcome and spent a considerable amount of time answering our questions. He never asked pushy questions and he never made us feel like he’d rather be dealing with other customers who were actually prepared to purchase a car that day. The whole experience felt less like a visit to a car dealership and more like a free consultation with a Subaru scholar. Negotiations: A month or so later I returned to purchase a new car. I brought with me an entire brief bag full of pricing research I had conducted over the previous several weeks. I had factory invoice pricing on each Forester trim-line including invoice pricing on each available option. I also had detailed data on the actual prices paid for Foresters in central Ohio over the past month. I was determined to get an outstanding deal. If I were a car dealer and a prospective customer showed up and began to spread out a pile of invoice pricing on my desk I’d likely sigh, exhibit a non-verbal defensive posture, and assume that I’d be in store for long, tedious, and unpleasant negotiations. Keith, on the other hand, remained friendly and collaborative. He welcomed the data I brought as a useful tool to discuss the price of my new Forester. At the end of the negotiations I received a great offer that was lower than the offers I had received at any of the other dealers in town. Post-Sale: When I walked out to drive off in my new Forester I was pleased to see that they hadn't defaced it with ugly dealership logos that so many other dealers feel compelled to vandalize new cars with. I was so excited about my new car and the pleasant sales experience that I drove off without noticing that the floor mats were missing. When I contacted Keith about the oversight he went above and beyond his responsibilities to fix the situation. At his own expense and during his own time he drove to my house and dropped off upgraded all-weather floor mats. It was at that moment that I knew I had found a real gem of a dealer – one that I exuberantly recommend to family and friends. More
