Great sales person, shady finance practices I enjoyed working with my sales professional, Joey Powell. He was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and helpful. However, I found Keith Cordova's (finance) interactions with me to be questionable at best. I had run my credit reports in advance of my visit so I knew my scores. However, when he "ran my credit," I was told my score was too low to get the 0% financing that was advertised. The score they showed me was a full 60 points lower than the score I had received from the same credit agency the day before. I began to question his "soft pull vs hard pull" explanation of why the scores were so different and balked at their "offer" of 5% financing, mentioning that I had checked rates and that BMI Credit Union had 1.49%. Mr. Cordova contacted BMI WITHOUT MY PERMISSION to apply for a loan on my behalf. When I called him on that, he was magically able to make a call (on a Sunday afternoon) and get me the 0% financing. While I'm happy with 0%, I'm extremely unhappy at being manipulated in such a way by Mr. Cordova. Many people would have taken the 5% without question. Seems a very shady business practice to me. *The five-star ratings below do not apply to Mr. Cordova. More

As we entered the showroom Monte Curry introduced himself and asked about our interest in the Subaru. With his help we narrowed down our choices between the Forrester and the Outback. 3 hours later the Outback was our choice. Monte stuck with us as we pondered our choices and obsessed about minute details like power seat memory and major issues such as color combinations. He never got impatient. He never lost his focus on trying to help us find the car to fit our needs. We found his knowledge of the Subaru and his devotion to the brand and the dealership refreshing. Ultimately the combination of a superior product represented by an equally superior sales person allowed us to make our decision with confidence. The next day we worked with Sage Wori. His enthusiasm and efficiency got us through all the paperwork effortlessly. My wife and I highly recommend Byers Mazda Subaru, Monty Curry, and Sage Wori to everyone shopping for a car. More
