Not as smooth as I'd hoped Due to Covid-19, we scheduled a specific time to view the vehicle I was interested in. We mentioned that we intended to buy that day and wanted to get Due to Covid-19, we scheduled a specific time to view the vehicle I was interested in. We mentioned that we intended to buy that day and wanted to get in and get out. Better yet, that we preferred to simply buy the car remotely and not visit the dealership at all. Unfortunately, we were asked to come in and during said trip, it became a normal, pre covid, 3+ hour expedition with about ~10-15 minutes of total face time negotiating the deal. Towards the end, we had to deal with the classic "let me check with my finance manager" rigamarole for an extra 30 minutes of fun. Despite hand sanitizer available, I didn't like that I had to sit at the salesman's desk and use his computer and mouse to fill out a form. As you can tell, I'm a bit salty but its water under the bridge. However, I hope you can find a way to make this process less brutal for your customers given that now, we occupy a different world than last year. I also stressed that a condition of my purchase was to have remote start in the vehicle and that the Mazda app was one of the reasons I decided on the CX-5. I assumed it was just a download, purchased the vehicle and left. Turns out it's not that easy. I scheduled another appointment to meet with him (I live 2 hours away) and when I arrived he said he found out the app has bugs and doesn't work. This is not in any way the salesman's fault but I think Byers and/or Mazda needs remedy this. Can you share some thoughts as to how we can fix this? Perhaps a 3rd party remote start installation? A different Mazda variant maybe? I want this remedied. More

I highly recommend working with Jeff Rettinger the next time you are in the market for a used car. It’s been a long time since I’ve purchased a new-to-me car and he could not have made the process any eas time you are in the market for a used car. It’s been a long time since I’ve purchased a new-to-me car and he could not have made the process any easier. Jeff was very honest and upfront about each car I inquired about and looked at. He went above and beyond to find me the exact car I wanted and I felt very comfortable and confident in my final purchase (a certified 2016 Subaru Impreza Sport hatchback). At no point did I feel pressured into buying like I have at some other dealerships and used car lots. Seriously, go find Jeff the next time you’re in the market for a used car - you won’t be disappointed. I also want to give a shout out to their finance manager, Jay. He is so good at explaining the finance process and the additional warrantees you can purchase. He didn’t rush through things, but instead took the time to answer my questions and be super down to earth. I really enjoyed working with, talking to and swapping crazy car stories with him! More
