We decided on a 2023 Mazda 3 Turbo Hatchback in January and shopped around the Columbus Mazda dealers and online with TrueCar. Even though there were no Mazda 3 Hatchbacks to be seen in the area, Michael was very informative and willing to let us test drive the Mazda 3 sedans which were in stock to compare the engines and trim level options. He answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. Even though there were no available discounts or incentives, we placed an order for a hatchback with Michael in early January and took delivery on February 28. Michael kept us up to speed on the status of the car during the entire build time. He made the entire buying process completely painless. He has a very friendly and open personality which we appreciated. We also appreciated Byers not placing a surcharge with ordering or having a "market upcharge" as many competitors currently have. My fiancé and I bought a CX-5 from John Bechtel last night and it was easily the best experience we’ve had at a dealership. He made us feel at ease, shared lots of laughs, educated us on our options and never pushed us. We first visited Tuesday evening and by Thursday we were driving away in a car that we absolutely love. He was incredibly responsive to our texts and went above and beyond to get us the best rate possible.
