Worst Experience ever!!! Thanks for leaving me stranded My 16 Fusion broke down this week, of course wasn't a priority to this place because #1 I didn't buy my vehicle from here and oh #2 didn't have an a My 16 Fusion broke down this week, of course wasn't a priority to this place because #1 I didn't buy my vehicle from here and oh #2 didn't have an appointment for my broke down car that's practically brand new only being a year old!! But since I was out of town working I was left stranded, never given a firm deadline and was told after 24 hours of it being there if the part didn't come or it didn't work out to be that I could finally have a rental. Mind you was never offered it prior and was never offered a shuttle the five miles down the road where we were working. I understand bookings and didn't expect that we would be priority to have it fixed but if you can't get to a vehicle that's 100 percent broke down doesn't run at all and a person is from out of town..... I would never have thought to be told to a customer either way and by a place representing Ford that we we not a priority because we didn't buy our vehicle from there and they save their vehicles for people who were already scheduled who also buy their vehicles from Byers Ford. And then to be told by general manager today what I was thinking and how I am as a person oh and get this a liar don't think that sits well with anyone. Either way I was a customer, and in a position that left me stranded, poorest customer service I have ever got and will never go back. By the way telling all my family and friends to never go here. What happened to the customer is always right!! Oh and Ford regional rep as well as dealership it was purchased from said a rental almost always ALWAYS is given if a vehicle is not drivable overnight for a rental. Ford even pays for it out of warranty not the dealership!!!!! More
I just have consistently bad visits. When my car was towed there after it broke down, by Ford, it was delivered to the wrong part of the car lot and Byers would not take care of it because it was not dr towed there after it broke down, by Ford, it was delivered to the wrong part of the car lot and Byers would not take care of it because it was not dropped to the correct side of the parking area. I had to arrange for it to be towed again. It was a new car, with a stupid defect, and I had to go without my car for nearly a week, but couldn't get a loner car because none were available. Every service visit I have gone to I have had to wait long periods of time for them to figure out that the visit is covered by warranty. Each time I am billed and then have to re-explain, sit and wait, and then get it figured out. This time, I got a 'zero' estimate for my car door handle being broken (written estimate-which I still have), which made me assume it was under warranty. Then I drop it off, my reservation is lost, though they do manage to get me in. But, when I pick it up, I am charged $140. I explain the warranty and am asked to wait. 45 minutes later I am told it isn't covered. More
