Easy to work with and honest We identified a car from an internet search and had email contact with Nick Borgia. When we arrived at the dealership we were met by Steve Cousins. He got the keys to the car we were interested in and let us take a test drive. Steve then presented us with options for purchasing. He allowed my wife and I some privacy while we discussed what we wanted to do. We normally only purchase a car every 10 to 12 years, but will be coming back to Byers for our next purchase. More

Exceeds expectations; my most pleasant car buying experience Byers is my preferred Ford dealer in the Central Ohio area, and there's a reason I always drive 25 minutes from my house to go there as opposed to Ger Byers is my preferred Ford dealer in the Central Ohio area, and there's a reason I always drive 25 minutes from my house to go there as opposed to Germain Ford (literally three blocks from my house). My family has purchased three vehicles from Byers (two of which were my own) and each time Josh Chadwick was the salesperson spearheading the process. When we bought the first two cars back in 2013, Josh had apparently recently joined the team as one of their newer members. Earlier this week when I purchased my second personal car from Byers, I was greeted (and recognized) by Josh, who informed me that he had shot right up to Sales Manager for the dealership. I can tell you exactly why this happened: 1) First off, Josh is very knowledgeable. I never got a "hold on, I'll have to go check into that". He knew what he was talking about, he knew what he had on the lot, and he knew quite a bit about individual vehicles (impressive given the size of Byers' lot). He was always quick to answer any questions or concerns that I had, without needing to sugarcoat anything. In fact, he has been following up with me via email about several assorted questions I've had since I purchased my latest car. 2) Josh has a very hands-on approach to selling cars, but is a far cry from any other dealership I have ever had to work with. What I mean by this is that I told him what I was looking at, and he told me to go on a test drive within five minutes of getting to the dealership. He scanned my license, slapped a plate on the car, and told me just to come back when I'm done. He didn't need to ride along in the back seat and ask how I liked the stitching on the steering wheel, or how it felt to know that I was *this* close to owning a car I've drooled over for the better part of three years. He let me take the reins, get out there and get an unbiased, uninterrupted opinion of the car without sitting on my back and selling me on features. It was a very low pressure environment every time I have been involved with Josh and Byers in general, and is one of the main reasons I will continue to go back (and take my girlfriend when she's ready to get a new car). 3) This is by far and away THE MOST IMPORTANT reason Josh has continually exceeded my expectations and I will continue to take my business to Byers Ford, but first let me explain my experience with other dealerships. Any other time I have purchased a car, or been involved with the purchase of a car for a friend/family member, it always follows a very formulaic approach for the salesperson: first, ask what car they want to buy. Second, ask how much they can afford to pay a month (a great way to ensure you squeeze every last penny out of the buyer). While I do understand that they're there to make money, this ends up in a lot of people being overburdened and they end up paying a lot more for a car than they have to. Byers is very different in this respect. I wasn't asked how much I wanted to pay a month. I was asked what I was looking for, and Byers was able to make accommodations on my trade-in, with the financing companies, and with the price of the new vehicle to suit ME. I ended up paying $35 more a month for twice the car I had before, which helped me stay well within my budget while upgrading to something much nicer. In short, I have had nothing but stellar experiences with the sales department at Byers Ford. You would be remiss to not check them out if you're in or near Columbus looking for a shiny new Ford. P.S. a special shoutout goes to Bill Thorpe for the most pleasant and stress-free round of purchase and financing paperwork signing I've ever been a part of. More
