After the worst ever experience from Lexus Dublin, I found my way to Byers Chev Grove City because of the car we sought seen on thier website. We demand safety, reliability and expect to be treated with courtesy like most ppl do! It is hard to find all that in any dealerships....until this experience. We did not have a wallet full of money, nor sterling credit....but our salesman Calvin, listened to us, and did not try to push us in any way. His years of knowledge led us to the perfect fit. He made sure that is was a smooth transaction, the vehicle was ready for delivery and we were happy &100% satisfied. They didnt stay on our heels as we browsed, did not get impatient w/ out questions, even helped Google reviews & ratings on this certain car. I will never go any place else, I have found that perfect dealership...among the worst in Columbus are Dave Gill Chev, Lexus Dublin, & Ricart...because we have bought from Lexington,Ky to Cleveland, Ohio..and everywhere from Portsmouth to Delaware, Ohio Rt 23 north/south....I can make this true evaluation...no buyers remorse sick feeling the next day wondering if this was right decision. What an amazing feeling fellow shoppers to wake up, look out your window and see the perfect car, for an unbelievable deal. We all basically want the same thing in a vehicle I feel...give me something that is not gonna nickel & dime us in repair, want something with great payments and rates, and a vehicle that is trustworthy. We were treated so good by Byers Chev, we look forward now to car shopping. If you want no hassles, treated with respect & dignity, an amazing new/used vehicle at an unbelievable price, with more than fair value for trade in...give Calvin @ Byers Chev a try...we are glad we did, and good luck w/ any other dealerships out there...your instincts tell you its just not a fair deal at most the rest...we never once felt that apprehension from the moment we stepped on Byers lot..A million thanks to you great folks! Very disapointed Poor customer service, we started the process on a sunday and by thursday still no answers and they were working a loan on a vehicle we hadnt even see Poor customer service, we started the process on a sunday and by thursday still no answers and they were working a loan on a vehicle we hadnt even seen or test drove!!Finally got a response with a ridiculous intrest rate and payment said no thanks went to another local dealer and got a newer car less miles for less money and better intrest rate!! would not recomend this dealership to anyone,only interested in selling a new car not helping the consumer find the right car for them! I was working in Columbus and having starting problems and engine performance issues on the highway with a 6.5 turbo diesel work truck. After checking reviews online I decide to take it to Byers Downtown, and engine performance issues on the highway with a 6.5 turbo diesel work truck. After checking reviews online I decide to take it to Byers Downtown, commercial truck repair. for troubleshooting. I received the call requesting replacement of the radiator, upper radiator hose, sensor and waste gate solenoid. The reasoning was that these repairs had to be made before any performance issues could be addressed. It was a reasonable request so I authorized the repairs at a cost of $1,600.00 I received a call that the truck was repaired and ready for pickup. When I arrived and attempted to start it, the truck had the same issues, hard starting. The mechanic came out, worked under the hood and started it, they suggested I bring it back and leave it over night. On the Highway it had the same performance issues. After getting a rental at the airport for another week, I dropped the truck off again. The service manager called and wanted $700. something to replace a weak battery and starter. The repairs had little to do with the lift pump not activating and engine performance. It's a 12 volt system with two batteries. I realized the dealership was either incapable of troubleshooting the problem or trying to milk my wallet. When I picked it up, of course it was hard to start, I watched the mechanic purge air from the fuel filter cap, so I suspect he knew air was in the line. I told them from the start about the black puddle of diesel that it left when parked and other fuel delivery issues it was having, so I think they were just out to make money rather then repair the truck. The irony is although they made some money on costly repairs, they lost a customer for life, lost a sale at the commercial truck department which provided the best quote on a replacement truck, and they tarnished their reputation in the community including with business partners, tow truck driver, Jasper's engines, other Columbus dealerships and diesel shops I visted for price quotes and outfitters of the commercial trucks they sell. The moral to the story is if you want something done right, be prepared to do it yourself and Beware of Byers downtown commercial truck service. More

I went to three other dealers before finding Byer's Chevy. Greg and team treated me with respect and friendliness. He returned my phone calls promptly and I feel he is a straight shooter. I have found Dan and others at the auto body shop very accomodating and have always delivered car repair within the days it was promised. The neighborhood is suspect but it is easy to travel to Broad str accomodating and have always delivered car repair within the days it was promised.
